Looking at the list is mind boggling, mind you last time i wouldn't of thought of Mark Robins. Going back to the list doing the rounds i suppose Owen Coyle for me. Done well at Burnley on a shoestring but not so well at Bolton

he did well at swansea, plays a good passing game, could lay down some good technical groundwork

his leicester team that were bottom after 7pts actually dominated games, he would have got them to click if erikson had not come in

I could go along with Andy Morrell, doing well managing a lower league club with tight purse strings, a forward with an eye for goal rather than a dour defender, knows something of the city ........ could do much worse.
Certainly better than one of the merry-go-round of mediocre managers who has just been fired for underperforming, probably for the umpteenth time ......

No, no, no. We were absolute shite when Sousa was here. The players weren't anywhere near fit enough, the football was often pretty but almost always entirely ineffective. He fell out with key players, none of them enjoyed his style, none of them had confidence in him.

When we played Portsmouth at Fratton Park on Friday, September 24, 2010, he sent Jack Hobbs on as a substitute after Michael Morrison was red carded. Hobbs clearly could not understand the manager's instructions despite asking him to repeat himself a number of times. We lost 6-1; Sousa had completely lost the plot. He had no idea what to do. The following Tuesday, Matt Fryatt, a player not known for violence, was rightly sent off in a 4-3 defeat at Norwich for kicking an opponent in frustration. We played some wonderful football going forward but the defending was appalling. Sousa didn't last until the next game.

Sousa is not, in any way shape or form, the answer to your problems. I'm pretty confident he'd just cause more.

There have been some good names mentioned. Some pretty depressing ones as well. Hard to keep track of all these threads. Did someone say Adkins earlier? Seems unrealistic but would be the right sort of man.

Paul Lambert's doing a hilarious job at Villa, with the right appointment you could finish above them next season.

trouble is with coyle, he did to burnley what robins has just done to us, and that was after he got burnley into the premiership.

I think so, it's about a year since Lee Clark was sacked. Grayson would be a good shout. Not got the stock he had before leaving Blackpool but still capable.

Grayson had an acrimonious parting with Blackpool as he walked out on them to join Leeds. That won't do him any favours after what has gone down with Robins.
