Next round of JPT comes 3 days after the Spurs game. Which is the priority? And this is aimed more at those people who could barely control themselves after the FAC draw.

For me, the FAC is irrelevant, other than a nice financial windfall. Play our striongest team - we lose, rest players - we lose. I would rest as many key players as we could for the FAC bearing in mind that we are limited to the number of changes we can make for the JPT.

2 opponents stand in our way before a day on the beers at Wembley can be contemplated along with 40,000 like minded members of the Sky Blue army.

Compared to a day out at Spurs - no contest.

Bring. It. On.

Rest all the players against Spurs and bring them all back for the JPT.

Just 3 games away from Wembley now! We will have to play either Preston/Bury, Crewe or Bradford next.

Bring it on!!

Agree with you about the FA cup. Put out the kids, let them enjoy the day.

The JPT has just got serious, and its something we should go all out to win.

Imagine the impact that would have on our club.

No impact at all cos it's an embarrassment and a tin pot cup ...... right?

Depends on whether its the immediate game before (ie cup game V Spurs) or the previous league game squad that you have to include 6 players in JPT game!

If you can rest more than 5 or 6 in the cup game, then do it. Realistically, I can't see us gettin past Spurs. Yes it's possible, but even if we do (a big if) we'll face tougher teams between the 3rd round and the final!

JPT is our best chance of appearing at Wembley this season so of rather we concentrate on that

Correct -- may be a tin pot cup but I know the rules.

I'm amazed that nobody is suggesting we make a serious go at the FAC as well. If Robins can't deliver European football this season he shouldn't be in the job.

Concentrate on the tin pot? :thinking about:

If I had a choice I would concentrate on the league. But there is no need to concentrate on any cup or league. The players will give their all in all games. We need to keep winning in the league. We need a good performance against Spurs. We are on an excellent run. Playing well against Spurs will be yet another confidence boost. Can't see the Spurs game going to extra time. I agree the tin pot is our only realistic chance of winning something this season, but the league is not finished yet.

We are now at the start of December. Our recent form in the league is 4 wins, one draw and 1 defeat. 2 wins in the F.A. cup and a win in the tin pot. 7 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat. I say keep it going. Try to win every game. Even Spurs will look at our game and see a banana skin in front of them. Nobody likes to play a team in form.

The spurs game won't go into extra time regardless as there will be a replay after 90 mins.
