Would you describe the board at Norwich as rubbish?

I asked for a direct quote and you give me a quote from OSB who quotes Tim Fisher threatening to blow the club off the face of the planet and ACL alledgedly saying it's an "option" although I still haven't seen evidence of this. How does this back up your earlier claim that they have been using the same imflamatory language? They haven't as anyone who is looking at this without an agenda can see...I was there handing out leaflets against the Richardson regime...can't believe you were behind that Torchy as these are far worse than him!

I know you are as passionate as any CCFC fan including me...it really does come across loud and clear in so much of what you say and I really do respect your right to have a view although I certainly don't agree with a lot of those views. I do think your consistent backing of owners who have held a gun to our heads and said if ACL don't play ball they will put us out of existence does you no favours at all and if they actually carry out their threat I wonder whether you will have the grace to apologise to every single CCFC fan you ever meet for being so wrong.

As the original poster I'm not siding with anyone. I merely made it a simply format. You either back one side or the other and if not then you have the option to be neutral.

The fact is if you support CCFC in all this then by default you are supporting SISU whether you like that or not. No ones going to castigate you for it.
If you support ACL in all this then by default you are supporting them as CCFC landlords who operate the stadium and the Higgs charity. Ultimately the owners of the stadium CCC.

It's simple really and you just have to get your heads out of the sand and base you vote on what you make of it as you see it. I think the poll has enlightened everyone in so much as to see it's an even split (or thereabouts) on being with ACL and opposing CCFC and being with CCFC and opposing ACL with the majority siding with the neutral camp which is probably because those voters don't know who to believe in all this.

The poll was set for one day. Now how would the poll be a few days later with all that's come out about whispers of investors in the wings? I bet there would be a run on ACL support? I also would say how would the poll look if there was more certainty of say a 15 or even 25 point deduction? I bet there would be a swing in support for CCFC?

I think a lot of people have argued on here and accused some of siding one way or the other based on how they themselves perceive it? The reality is there is support for either side fairly evenly split at the moment.

Too many separate threads only confuse the issue with repeated lines found on different post. I have found people asking questions already answered in other post? Some of you are not keeping up. I can only make my opinion known based on the facts as I understand them and not conjecture or some other posters assumptions.
We all want what is going to be best for CCFC. That makes some side one way and others side the other way. Which one is right?

Remove the CCFC option and put just SISU instead and you know you'd get a very different looking result! As all politics students know, "the answer you get depends on the question you ask". And as all good fans of Not The Nine O'Clock News know, "The only good poll is a Deed Pole"

I don't see it that way. It's CCFC because that is the entity which ACL are taking to a hearing and not SISU. Not withstanding the fact SISU hold the purse strings.

CCFC existed before Sisu. CCFC will exist in the heart of the fans - and maybe or maybe not as a corporate entity - after Sisu. Whether you intended it or not, putting CCFC (Sisu) leaves room for doubt. I think we all want the best for CCFC, but there are differing opinions about what the best thing is. In my opinion the situation need not be like this and therefore while the court papers may say ACL v CCFC, this court dispute is essentially about how Sisu have chosen to manage CCFC and how ACL have responded to that.

Well, if we ever SISU own the Ricoh outright and then sell it to someone else making us homeless which forces us into a stadium we don't own and have to pay an exorbitant rent, then I'll agree with you.

When Tim Fisher takes an interest free loan out at the beginning of each season then I'll agree with you.

When Tim Fisher earns more than the chief executive of the Premier League then I'll agree with you.

If Fisher ever increases the wage bill to 125% of our income then I'll agree with you.

Until then. I won't.

Well, everyone on here has tried to spin the results their way. Look at FF and the post he removed, but not until after I'd quoted it.

I'm not backing the owners I'm backing Coventry City. I'm not backing ACL in their action against Coventry City. That's my position. It's not difficult to understand, it doesn't need explaining. People don't have to act like hysterical girls (Hi, SBK) just because I don't agree with them.

And I don't have to "apologise to every single CCFC fan" I ever meet just because a few blokes on a message board who I will never meet disagree with me. What a ridiculous thing to say.

My original quote for your reference Torchomatic. Nothing skewed about that opinion is there. Fairly balanced really.

FF: "Not many people have voted. Which means pro SISU people would be totally justified in saying that the poll is not representative. A bit like they say SBT is not representative"

Luckily, I was just about to reply to this before you deleted it. I presume that was because you realised I could easily swap the word SISU for ACL. And yet, you've been posting stats and percentages of people not siding with SISU. Not representative either, eh? Brilliant.

ACL because they don't want to see CCFC liquidated, whereas SISU do, if they don't get 100% their own way!:jerkit:

You're right, they haven't threatened, not once... But said they're starting the actual process, actually.

Last time I checked, actions spoke 1000 words, and ACL are starting the process, say we go into admin, no buyer, no choice but liquidation. I don't think it'll go that far, but of cause it cannot be completely ruled out.

PWKH on here said they have started the process to put CCFC into compulsory liquidation. There's no argument here, they are his words, not mine!

As Torch said, admin is the first stage which COULD escalate to liquidation, therefore, the process of liquidation has begun, and was initiated by ACL. Again, there's no argument here, it is fact, not opinion!

Administration can lead to liquidation, but unlikely in our case.

We all know that, but it's still a possibility nonetheless, one we must weary of, and shouldn't be cheering ACL for putting us on a path which could potentially kill the club.

ACL insists the move is to prevent Sisu putting the club straight into liquidation, and a reformed club having to start again after plummeting down the football pyramid.

CCFC were put on this path by Sisu not paying the rent. Without the debt ACL would not take action. You could also start the path earlier, with the contract for the Arena or selling Highfield Road.

That is not what I said. The fact is that ACL have started a process that could lead to Administration. Should no buyer be found, or should the secured creditors resist every attempt of an Administrator then it would probably lead to liquidation. That is usually unlikely. I agree with Torch and others that in this case where the secured creditor is Sisu that it is much more likely. But please read back when you think that you are quoting me to see that you actually are...
