By 2 votes, which could change in favour of CCFC.

You obviously read this differently to me Torchy.
The first highlighted piece says to me, ACL are looking at "Legal options"(Plural)
This meaning one of possibly numerous options. It does not state they are going to force liquidation. It states LOOKING. Big difference mate!

The Poll is set up wrong. It should be set up like this:-

ACL/CCFC
SISU/CCFC
CCFC

Simple as that.

They are both as bad as each other so I am in the neither camp.

Without a new owner we are going nowhere but going into admin I don't think will end nicely for us at all.

It's a mess. I would be interested to know what offer SISU would accept to sell without going into admin. They must have a sensible cut your losses figure and with the amount of money to get stadium ownership and develop land you would think it would be a relatively small additional figure for any serious buyer who was interested in the club and not just the stadium/development potential. Perhaps there is the problem.

to be honest its not about sides here.. its about the right outcome for the club.

if you take one side completely, then the deal isnt going to work. its about both sides meeting somewhere in the middle & doing a deal that suits all parties & allows the club to move forward..

unfortunately i think so much has happened, that neither side will let this happen now.. hence its come to where we are today

I simply do not want administration.

I sincerely hope something happens this week that will keep us going and avoid any penalty and that it can all be sorted out in the Summer.

For me, the rent is far too high. The club should own the ground. The club should receive the income from food and beverages on match days.

Do think though that the rent arrears should be paid and that it should never have got to this state of affairs.

It was clear to myself and others that the Christmas before last we were certainties for relegation. At that point the alarm bells should have rang loud and clear.

I'm only on the side of CCFC on this. It's just been one big sorry mess.

I've voted for Sisu. They can not be expected to lose money as the are with out a income stream to support there business. ACL /CCC now this and are strangling our football club.
One owner out right . No third party involvement .
And I don't care who the owners are,

I voted 'neither' as I think with this hearing classing SISU and CCFC as one entity is not a true reflection of the situation here. Tugs on the heart strings a bit and I'm sure a few have thought 'how can I vote against CCFC?" but If SISU 'win' then that is not necessarily going to be the best scenario for CCFC...especially if they carry out their threat to liquidate!

Obviously, I do. We can both pick and choose the words or phrases we'd like to use but they appear to mean different things to different people.

You say ACL were "looking at" liquidation. I could say that SISU were "looking at" liquidation too.

I know you can't and won't admit it, but they have both threatened liquidation and therefore both disregarded the fans and the football club.

@ Torchy....

At no point did I say ACL were looking at liquidation..........I said ACL were looking at "Legal options" plural.
Now if you can show me where ACL have threatened liquidation please show it!
I've researched, and can't find one reference to ACL where they have threatened liquidation.

Silly poll either way as most people are already in one "camp" or the other, and the results of the poll tell us nothing. Sorry OP, but this is a waste of time.

@ Torchy...

The Board of ACL has already issued a Statutory Demand for payment, the deadline for which has long since passed, and is now looking at its legal options. These legal options include petitioning the courts to grant an order to wind up CCFC and starting off the process of placing the Club into compulsory liquidation.

As I have said and as you have clearly demonstrated we can use the phrases and word to suit ourselves.

Put it this way then. ACLs options include liquidation and SISUs option include liquidation.

You can neither, I say neither, you say tomato, I say tomato. You're splitting hairs. Either way, both sides have demonstrated they are ready to use the same "options"

correct me when I'm wrong but when did ACL say they'd liquidate the club? Didn't Fisher say that liquidation on SISU's part was inevitiabe? Like I say correct me if I'm wrong.

I can't really vote when CCFC is linked to SISU.

SISU do not belong at our football club; never have, never will.

I'm backing any option that potentially removes them whatever risk that entails.

Fisher said due to the current situation then it would be difficult to avoid insolvency as the club was at a tipping point.

ACL said that one of their options to get the money back was liquidation.

Neither side have said "we are going to liquidate, ha ha ha", which was the point that is missed by SBK, MMM,CJ, Coundon and all the others that say "Well, we don't want administration but ACL have no choice because SISU are going to liquidate." He never said that, he said things needed to get sorted out before it got to that point.

Things aren't as black and white as the above posters, ACL and PWKH would have you believe.

2 part answer Torchy....Correct...one of ACL's options(But never once was it threatened) was liquidation.(ACL always claimed Administration)
2nd part SISU actually threatened Liquidation.....Fisher said that liquidation on SISU's part was inevitiabe?...nothing else on SISU's part ever said anything other than this!

I'm not squirming, I was just trying to make you take the blinkers off and stop you having anti CCFC-tunnel vision. But I give up.

If the club are out in administration and the Americans take over at least it will stop you spouting complete rubbish for a while. I take it you're all for the Americans?

I dont particually like ACL but we legally owe them that money and they had every right to put us into admin. They need this club, cus without us they wouldnt have the exposure that we give the Arena. They wanna keep us at the Ricoh but they know they cant talk to SISU and believe me, i want SISU out just as much as they do. SISU have been nothing but bad news after they bailed us out. I thank them for bailing us out but they have screwed this club over many times, neglected the needs of the fans and the club and outstayed their welcome

Tim Fisher "They need to re-enter negotiations pronto or we file"....don't think there's any doubts that this is a clear and real threat to liquidate...putting a gun to the club's head as it were as if they were in some sort of hostage negotiation situation. You keep comparing the language being used in each corner but show us a direct quote where ACL have been quite so imflamatory...

we could just let SISU remain in charge. We will get turfed out of the Ricoh, slip further down the divisions then when they realise there is no money to be made liquidate us. A few of you on here will be happy then
