Recuperation is the slow part of ACLs after surgery, many top players have been there Alan Shearer, Roy Keane as examples and come back successfully playing at the highest levels, even way down the levels here to Max Biamou it took him about 12 months but came back fit and playing.
COH will be on a strict program which probably frustrates the crap out of him but necessary.

Only just remember now, but I noticed O'Hare on the pitch at Wembley after the game. Still appeared to be visibly limping. What's the latest - is he going to make Pre-Season?

He did it Boxing Day at Sheff Utd. Pre-season will still be too soon though sadly I suspect.

If he was at the blues game why didn’t he go on the pitch at the end with the others? Palmer & Tavares we’re both signing autographs by the dugout.

Palmer’s son was wearing a shirt with O’Hare 10 printed on the back.

According to Google recovery is 9-12 months usually for an ACL suffered by a professional footballer so if he had his op early Jan we're looking at any time between early Oct and early Jan.

He might have jarred it or something as I saw him on the Friday before the final and he was walking just fine. I was actually shocked by how well he was walking. Not that I've got any experience of such injuries but just by looking at him walk, you wouldn't have said he had a serious knee injury 5-6 months ago.

I heard he was in early training in May that could be gym work but I’d say he is on course, with ACLs it isn’t so much the injury it’s the recouporation he’s a naturally fit guy, think he’ll be okay and what a player to become fighting fit.

Yes but I understand the sooner they come back the greater the chance of a further injury.

He won’t be brought back too early, he will have a fitness program strictly monitored.

We will see him October time but only for cameo appearances

Match fit and being able to complete 90 mins effectively will be January

How correct you are. We’ve got accountants unfortunately the only one that was credible is unfortunately no longer with us RIP.
insolvency experts.
World class scouts.
Law experts.
And now surprisingly surgeons

I know you're trying to be sarcastic but it's highly likely there are accountants (I know of at least one other than OSB), legal professionals, there was definitely someone that was a physio. Given the number of people on here it's not that surprising.

I’m not long signed off after recovering from ACL reconstruction. My physio said Memphis Depay had the quickest return he’d known. I just looked up the time:

INJURY
On 15 December 2019 Memphis tore his anterior cruciate ligament while playing against Rennes in Ligue 1.

COMEBACK
Memphis Depay made his comeback at Olympique Lyon on Wednesday 1 July 2020 in a practice game of the Ligue 1 club with amateur club Us Port Valais. He returned from his injury to start for Lyon in their 5–6 penalty shootout loss in the French league cup final against Paris Saint-Germain on 31 July 2020.

PS we definitely have at least one physio on here as one reached out to me after my first op (I needed a second because of scar tissue a year ago yesterday).

You don't need to be a surgeon to understand likely recovery times from a successful operation. It's rehab now which is physiotherapy not surgery.

Is the rumour of his knee going again true or just someone being daft? Surely one of our ITKs would know. I remember when Godden got mumps and was spotted at A&E, good times.

I really do hope he's ok. He's been a breath of fresh air to our club since he signed. More importantly, he's a young man who lives and breathes football and earns his living from it.

If true, we should take this opportunity to tie him down to a 5 year contract extension. He could be ready in 2026.

When has he supposed to have done his knee again? The most recent footage shown has him in good spirits and quite mobile.

Any news on his recovery? Really looking forward to seeing him play again. If he was injury free and played today I doubt fester would've been out of their half.

Yeah, couple of times Robins has now mentioned him.

Dawkins said he was back on grass last week.

Ultimately, we need low expectations. We cannot have a Jodi Jones situation where we think he'll change our season
