Not seeing him around the lads is a bit of a worry. Anyone got any info on his rehab?

Haven’t but given he won’t play much before October I guess the club may have told him to go on holiday and come back and start trading from the beginning of June. Tavares hasn’t been seen either so he may have been told the same?

On the unseen footage from the first leg I think I saw him walking into the dressing room. Might be wrong though.

I heard last night from someone who said he's genuinely been really struggling with his mental health because of the injury. Maybe that's why he's not been involved as much.

His socials have been quite subdued from what I’ve seen. Hope he’s OK.

Was it Alex Ferguson that used to keep injured players away from the first team so they didn't affect morale/team spirit or something like that?

Must be even harder when the teams been doing well and playing in massive games. Hope he’s not too disheartened. He’s a talented young lad and other big moments will come

We said last night maybe he is keeping a low profile as he hasn’t been involved and pride won’t let him take any credit. I really hope not, he’s been instrumental in getting us to this level. He should’ve been down there last night lapping us his song with the others

Absolutely. And in a season of fine margins every player who has kicked a ball for us has contributed anyway.

I deliver to him quite often and I asked him how the injury was last week, he didn't give details but said it's a really slow process but it's a lot better than it was, he was walking ok as well.

Generally ok, he's a nice lad and will always talk, not one of these moody bastard players who thinks he's better than you, still lives with his parents. He was fairly happy.

Palmer seems to have been at every game. O'Hare wasn't there for the lap after Brum either?

Fair play to Maguire too, no game time but joining in all the celebrations and being part of the team. He hasn't just stropped off down the tunnell or anything.

He was there on Sunday, he walked up past us seated with Palmer I think, just above the dug out.

Without him we wouldn't be in the play-offs. He came back from that leg injury firing and got us off the bottom. Honestly believe if we get to the promised land he'll wear the white of the 3 lions if he can fully recover, the boys unplayable at times, PL suits his style too.

Recovery from a serious injury can be very slow. When you are used to being active it compounds the frustration. Your mental state needs to be very focused and positive.

I wish Calum well

He retweeted a video of the fans singing his song in the concourse the other day.

I bumped into him at the Tom Grennan gig in Brum back in March, there was a queue of blokes waiting in a queue for photos with him, but once he saw my lads city shirt, he told them all to wait and that my lad had to go first. He was brilliant with him.

The kid deserves all the luck in the world when he's back. Can't wait to see him back

If he was at the blues game why didn’t he go on the pitch at the end with the others? Palmer & Tavares we’re both signing autographs by the dugout.

I spoke with him at the training day and he is finding it frustratingly slow, it’s baby steps of a recovery process and he said that was the hard part. He just wants to be back.
if he was there at Boro he would have done some damage inevitably with the celebrations.
