May not be not so much that he "jumped ship" but he's kept everyone guessing what he would do since December. The club probably aren't happy as they couldn't plan ahead. If he'd said in January that he wouldn't re-sign, they could work around that fact and maybe sell him in the Jan window. In an odd way, Hamer at least told us in advance so we were able to benefit.

I don't think he was referring to him beeing sold, it's more along the lines that we could of been scouting a replacement sooner and looked further afield, and maybe could using the wages we offered him elsewhere in the squad or transfer market.He wouldn’t have wanted to be sold he is likely to get a better deal as a free agent.
