My goodness you couldn't make it up. It's Roy of the Rovers stuff.
Still losing inexplicably, still fielding the same side after 3 defeats and they are still "not doing what they have been asked to do" (oops problem there Mr Shaw)
Still have the biggest budget in this league and regardless of form a stronger squad than most (looking like only on paper at the moment)
Still benching a known scorer at this level for reasons unknown.
Players having 'meetings' to thrash out reasons and solve problems instead of listening to their manager and then playing worse!
Bonus or appearance money obviously still an issue causing unrest.
Bell still injured! Where the hell is Thomas? Where is Cameron? Christie and others...
Over 70 applicants apply so we are told......hasten to think the level of applicants among so many? It's down to 9, it's down to 3 and it's Robins! Oh wait a minute lets retract that, looks like he turned US down!! Can we beleive any of it?
Wise is fans favourite but not in the short list or even known to have applied.
Manager will get a few loans but must work with what we have including the current atrociously bad coaching back room staff who have managed to beat Thorns poor record!
Hoffman and Ranson (who?) spotted in local exchanging comments with fans. What the hell are they doing exactly?
It's not just a circus it's a bloody soap opera.
The only thing clear is that this club for all SISU's attempts is like a rudderless ship and at the rate we are going we will be lucky to call ourselves up a creak without a paddle.
We need an appointment like yesterday. The club needs a galvanising figure asap and before Saturday. Oh it's not too late for this league and given we can even attract a decent guy we may still turn the whole situation around.
Questions though have got to be asked of the players regardless of back room problems surely?
Well the circus rolls on tomorrow and lets hope an appointment will be announced at least on traditional Thursday or we may be looking at the heaviest defeat ever for CCFC at Arsenal next week. Now how low can it go?
SISU's clowns have caused this circus and there seems no end in sight. Stop thinking like a big club and get on with it! You may have arrested the financial issues and lets be fair are still attempting to negotiate over rent and the Ricoh for the future of this football club but the footballing side lacks your attention to detail and has fallen apart in a big way.
May I remind you the business requires you to own and operate a football club that generates income by playing bloody football with just a modicum of success now and again! Sort it quickly or you will have gates of less than 3000. A sense of urgency is required for your very survival....least of all protection of your investment.
