Seems that this lady has over reached on this one and this feckless situation continuing is all down to her approach.

We are back where we started.

Now Joy, are you willing to negotiate a deal with ACL to return on a vastly reduced rent including concession monies and grow the football club, eventually selling on or have you the investment and business plan to build the new stadium?

I can not support SISU if they proceed further on the legal path without plan B clearly in place.

I applaud Paxman for at least now questioning Sisu's actions.

If anything is going to send him back to the dark side it's you applauding his change of heart.

There is no change of heart from me.
I did not support SISU and I certainly did not support ACL/Council either, in any of this debacle.

I have eared on the side of the football club first and foremost.

What I'm saying is SISU must learn that avenues for them and their agenda are closing off fast and unless they come to some agreement with said ACL/Council I simply do not see any way they can achieve what they set out to do during this whole stance.

I can admire to some degree the strength of their convictions while reserving the right to say it has decimated our football club but as owners of our football club they have to seek another way forward.
If they appeal then I see a less than 20% chance of success. But given win or lose the interim time period and playing games in Northampton can only do them more harm than good.
On the flip side this is no time for the council or ACL to get smug either. That judgement questioned their motives repeatedly. Frankly I think they just dodged a bullet.

What we need is for both sides to strip down their arguments and come at this from a fresh start. We need the football club back in Coventry. We have a purpose built stadium. We have an atrocious operations company part owned by the council running it and failing to make decent on any resolve. We have a company who own the football club needing a way back in that includes some sort of benefit other than a bit of pie money, low rent and no ownership. There is no reason for a council or ACL to own the stadium going forward. SISU are not seemingly good prospective owners either.
So we have deadlock but a solution is always possible. SISU aside it is the football club that belongs in the city. There will always be changes of ownership so all sides have to find a way to compromise because the next owner of CCFC (if it survives) will require the same.
Whether you believe a new stadium or not it is all the more reason to ensure the football club remains at the Ricoh for the long term.

I appeal to both sides to meet on the understanding an agreement will be construed that gives the football club earnings from the stadium to help secure it's financial existence and future thus ensuring the arena survives and inward investment continues on and around the complex that will help sustain jobs and improve infrastructure and the community as a whole in the NW of Coventry.

Anything less would be a mismanagement of the area.

Nobody supports them. People are accused of supporting them if they question the council or ACL. That's all

Why did he say "I cannot support Sisu if they proceed further on their legal path without plan B clearly in place".

Nonsense. Certain posters take it upon themselves to be the balance police and put across Sisu's side when all around are putting across the others, that gets them accused of supporting Sisu, nothing to do with people's views on the council.

Put in more simple terms; I don't 'support' either SISU or the council/ACL in any of this mess. BOTH have been abysmal in securing a future with CCFC back at the Ricoh. BOTH are culpable and answerable in this saga of spin and ego mixed with a bunch of sabre rattling.

Frankly they can BOTH be ashamed of themselves.

What I would like is for the Football League to take a stance on this on behalf of football and the hard done by fans.

And people who slam SISU and support NOPM (like me) get accused of being council-trolls or not being CCFC supporters etc.. but that is nonsensical.

I'm pretty clear, I want SISU out, so far they've screwed everything they have touched up and brought the club to its lowest level for 50 years. What is there to like about them?

It is comments like this that have caused so many arguments between ourselves. So how has CCC treated our club as a cash cow? CCC put 10m of their own money into the project and have never taken a penny out.

The cash cow that isn't paying any rent, left the city and is taking farcical legal action at every opportunity. That's a very lucrative cash cow?

No one supports SISU skyblurfred. The fact remains they are the owners of our football club and our future is in their hands as of now. You support your football club don't you? Then by default you support SISU in efforts to secure a stadium deal for the club right?

Trouble is we don't trust SISU I know but unfortunately it's all we have. ACL and the council should play their part and step up to the plate and encourage SISU to bring the club home so to benefit all. After that and things settle over time maybe , just maybe both sides can start being reasonable with each other.

The quickest way to get rid of SISU is back at the Ricoh.

I am sorry if I offend but what utter bollocks. The only thing Sisu have ever tried to secure is a deal on a stadium where it is right for them. Because if they would have ever looked at what was right for the club then we would have finished the season at the Ricoh and not at Sixfields. The last round of offers for rental or otherwise at the Ricoh was far better than rental at Sixfields no matter which way you look at it.

so massive reductions in rent are not an attempt to lure SISU back to ricoh ?

You and others bang on about all parties sitting around the table to thrash out a deal !
But its been tried, reduced rent has been offered but Sisu are not prepared to compromise. They may play lip service and say a deal can be done just to appease fans, but unlikely to happen !
Once you realise this the only option is new owners. Unless you have another plan ?

The only people who need a plan are Sisu/Otium and it is not rocket science to see that all they need to do is talk about and do a deal on an acceptable rental at the Ricoh with the promise of negotiations written in the contract. Stop wasting money on lawyers, planners, architects and anyone else involved in keeping us out of Coventry.

Be serious for once Grendel.

Being a CCC and anyone who works for them hater where would you say they should try next? It is easy for you to take the piss all the time. But you don't come out with anything that will get their investors what they want.

He can't be serious.
He is from the same mould as Sisu!
Fisher said the Rent is not a problem they need the £10.50 from pie money.

Come on Fisher and Co said "that the Ricoh is making no money and is not viable"
Why the fuck do they want a cut of it then????
