That's promotion guaranteed for next season then. Apparently.
Club legend. 500+ games, 30+ years with the Club. Looking forward to a new goalkeeping coach coming in and turning Burge and RCC into world beaters next season.

well, if true, that's another one gone who we can no longer blame for the mess our clubs in !

Might be able to whittle it down to the ones that remain

Not a chance. There will always be some deflecting blame onto everyone else but them

So again to confirm, who has blamed Oggy for the mess the club is in?

Why do people struggle to read things and actually understand, it's baffling.

Haven't had a truly poor goalie since Dimi Konstantopolous!

Dimi wasn't prem class but he was OK, he was first choice in Middlesbrough's Championship promotion team in 2104-15, 45 games league & cup.

So... any actual news that he's retiring?

Bet he stays for a decade, just to spite y'all now...

I think he would be a good coach however I can't see him ever coming here after what he's said about the owners of the club!

Lonergan - now there's a keeper I always wanted us to sign. Always seemed to have a blinder against us, but never really ever made it at a decent level. Always wondered why he wasnt picked!

I never said I hated him. I just think that after 33 years as a player and coach, it's time to move on. That and the fact he totally ignored me once when I said "Hi" to him when I spotted him outside a shop in Quinton Parade some years ago. He just looked at me and walked off. It doesn't cost a penny to be nice to your fans!

Was he played or coach then? If he was a player, I think it's time you moved on

I believe Sam Ricketts may also have left the club. Did anyone notice Friday's program had Jordon Willis writing the skipper's page instead of Sam?
He was off doing coaching badges but doesn't appear to have returned to the club
A shame as he was helping some of our young players with extra coaching and advice
I wish Sam well if he has left the club

Ricketts officially handed the captaincy to Willis a few weeks back.
As nick says, he did a stint also of coaching the defenders too, although this was more so under Slade. Haven't noticed if he still does it under Robins.
Would be a good coach I reckon; you don't get the captains arm band at several clubs you play for and not be a good role model.

Where's the actual evidence then?

I'm sure you're not the kind of lazy, careless, brainless twat that just makes stuff up, but sadly there are a few about. Can you provide sources, please?

Unfortunately I can't point to any proof such as article on club website etc... as I have contacts inside the club who need to stay anonymous, all will come out in due course. Note that I've tweeted a link to the FB page post multiple times directly replying to the Club on Twitter and they never reply or even remove them as the first reply on most of their tweets.

Oggy was a top goalie in his time and been a great servant to the club.

But hes been GK coach now for over a decade. Just look at the quality, or lack of quality from the GK's we've produced.

Hes a top guy, but its time for a change in his role.

I think I'd have heard this one through someone who knows him well (longterm).
Haven't heard a peep but never asked the question either.
