Yeah to be fair, I'll take this as half a bite

I don’t know the answer...
Indeed-which is another reason why that is the law-so the team offended by the tackle isn’t penalized and temporarily down to 10 men (instead of said player having to go off). Not strictly true, it is at the referee’s discretion how serious the injury is and whether they should leave the field of play, booking or not.
That player was clearly not seriously injured and did not require further treatment. He jogged at pretty much 3 quarter pace to attack the free kick.
Genuine question. When their keeper caught the corner and flopped with no one near, what can be down to stop that? I get if a keeper is genuinely hurt you need to stop but when it is clearly cheating what can you do?Indeed-which is another reason why that is the law-so the team offended by the tackle isn’t penalized and temporarily down to 10 men (instead of said player having to go off).
The leaving the pitch law is generally there to stop players slowing down play by feigning injury for the medical team to come on AND NOT leaning towards restricting teams by making a player leave the pitch when treated.Indeed-which is another reason why that is the law-so the team offended by the tackle isn’t penalized and temporarily down to 10 men (instead of said player having to go off).
Nothing! The referee ALWAYS has to air on the side of caution and “player’s safety is always paramount”.Genuine question. Allowing the clock to be stopped will make for exponentially more time wasting and cynical game management, not less.it's that football is run by pricks who are too arrogant to copy rugby. Just stop the f*cking clock for subs and injuries. No arguments over how much time to add.
You'd still get sh*thousing to kill momentum and relieve pressure but the team on the receiving end of it can just chill because they know time is still there.
Yes! I have been advocating that for ages! Or the centre half !If the ball is in play like it was in that instance, yes.
Or every time the keeper gets an injury from a gust of wind and gets treatment, the captain goes off.
The Referee will always ask the player “do you want treatment” before inviting the physio onto the field of play. Obviously if it’s a serious injury, say a clash of heads, the referee will invite them on straight away. The leaving the pitch law is generally there to stop players slowing down play by feigning injury for the medical team to come on AND NOT leaning towards restricting teams by making a player leave the pitch when treated.
Otherwise every player would just jump up when the opposition player isn’t booked … they don’t and very very rarely do once the medical team have been called on by the ref.

Have to say one thing, he did well with our goal not to give a foul against MVE, given some of the soft fouls he'd given against us all game. Was the correct decision, but I was 100% expecting him to rule it out given the way the game had gone.
If the player who committed the foul is cautioned. The fouled player does not have to leave the pitchGavin ‘ it’s all about me’ fucking Ward!!! Have you such a shit show from a ref? ( maybe Madeley ). I understand poor decisions but to get a rule wrong is disgraceful. Diallo was fouled, but has to leave the pitch after treatment surely. Frank is right, the refs are shite
Thinking more of it what happened to the added time of the 23/24 season.it's that football is run by pricks who are too arrogant to copy rugby. Just stop the f*cking clock for subs and injuries. No arguments over how much time to add.

they stopped for a team meeting after their goal, was ridiculousCelebrations for goals limited amount of time and kick off they took an age after scoring to get ready.
Ed Balls missed his train because of the time wasting. Poetic.
ok , didn't realise that. thanks. If the player who committed the foul is cautioned. The fouled player does not have to leave the pitch

not copying rugby should probably be your default position given the mess that they've gotten themselves into.
MaybeAt last a positive from the pathetic rail service
Yeah, but from an officiating POV, feels like they've handled stuff we're saying we'd like to see handled without complicating stuff.
Me too, ended up walking away with ten to go,was embarrassing myself.Just gets worse and worse, today I was raging from minute 1 with the officials. Terrible officiating ruined what could have been a good game
Wright says he was fouled and Lamps said it was a pen. Think Haji made the most of it but they both claimed it was legit.Wright dived

If the referee stops the game if the keeper goes down and the ball is in the penalty area-the restart of play is a dropped ball in the area to the keeper. It’s always a get out clause for a team who is under the hammer to use this tactic unfortunately and you will see it up and down the country this weekend
Ward didn’t have a great game in my opinion but he can only adhere to and interpret the laws of the game. 🫤
Trouble is is that the referee is responsible for the player’s safety at all times and what happens on the pitch is ultimately his responsibility to a degree. This is why the game will always be stopped. It would take just one occasion when the referee didn’t stop the game and it resulted in a major injury or career ending injury for that referee to be held accountable. It’s a no win situation unfortunately. Can you list the players who have had their safety harmed by the game not being stopped?
These aren’t real injuries and that’s obvious to everyone in the ground. When a player gets up he should be booked for simulation and trying to deceive the referee into stopping the game for a more serious injury.
why is the referee is the only person in the stadium not capable of telling the difference between a major injury and someone falling to the floor when clearly nobody has touched them. This is why the game will always be stopped. It would take just one occasion when the referee didn’t stop the game and it resulted in a major injury or career ending injury for that referee to be held accountable
