Not heard anything much about the referee performance yesterday.

One of the worst most biased referees I have ever seen. Every single 50/50 decision went Swindon's way and some of the free kicks around our penalty box were absolutely shocking decisions in the free kicks given to them (im thinking the tackle that Cameron actually managed to get right near the corner flag that was given as a free kick).

Worst decision the referee made was to book Joe Murphy for time wasting when he was waiting for Crewe to make a substitution. Absolutely ridiculous decision.

Ref was shocking. Awful performance and you are right Murphy yellow was comedy, it came when there was a substitution going on as well.

It's taken a bit longer than normal to blame the officials this week.

Have to say he was right to book him if he was waiting for Crewe to make a sub ;-)

Ironically his performance had no impact on the result. Just another annoying thing about yesterday.

I think it's past it's sell by date as an excuse by now

Missed an obvious penalty after Moussa was flapping his arms around thinking a ball was out of play and when realised it wasn't chased their man down and chopped him down a good yard or two in the box.Agree ,he was awful.

He's not using it as an excuse though he's just saying they were terrible. He got very few decisions correct for both teams we got a few dodgy decisions our way too

The standard of refs this season has been awful. He barely had a decision to make yesterday and still annoyed everyone in the ground. His whole handling of the game was dreadful. I bet he annoyed their fans as much as ours.

I've seen worse, but he was awful. Why do we ALWAYS get sh*t refs? Do the Football League just look at our fixture and say 'Oh, those twats are playing, how can we screw them out of the points?'. Tbh, we didnt need their help cus we were awful anyway, but still, sh*t ref, as always

the ball was about a foot over the line at one point towards the end of the game, up in the corner near block24, and the lino didnt flag

several obvious clear fouls waved play on

shite ref

Tbf, the Murphy one was a tricky one to call.

Yes there was a sub taking place, but Murphy recieved the ball, only to give it back to the ballboy while the sub went ahead. To me, this was an act of time wasting and was so obvious it was difficult for ref to not notice it.

Every other decision was called incorrectly by the rev though....

We see it every week. I'm fed up of writing about it. The standard of referreeing in this league is shocking. At least 2 occassions every match the ball goes out of play but the match continues, or there's some sort of ridiculous booking, such as Murphy's yesterday.

I haven't seen a team dive as much as Swindon and get away with it since the Prem!!

Spot on, he was bloody terrible, and got more wrong for us, but also made 4 or 5 really bad decisions in our favour that should have gone to Swindon.

There was an inch of daylight between ball and line yesterday!

And that is a consistant in its inconsistancy. That stuff can lead to goals. You wouldn't expect that level on inconsistancy at the AT7 centre let alone 3rd tier professional football.

I've said it before, they are all a mobile phone away from the AT7 centre refs.

Awful ref for sure.

That Cameron one was a completely joke. It was a great tackle and he quite clearly got the ball.

The Murphy one too. Yep, he was time wasting, but only when the play had stopped. Therefore how can he be time wasting (which is holding up play) when play was already held up.

The ref definitely booked him while the substitution was talking place and when the ball was dead and the sub hadn't even come on to the field yet.

They should complain about that booking for Murphy.

When was the last time a ref booked an opposition keeper for timewasting?

Wasn't the Preston keeper booked for it on the JPT game not so long ago?

To be honest, we needed that ref from yesterday for the likes of that Yeovil game.

The Yeovil keeper and their players were well out of order in their time wasting tactics.

Pretty sure it was the Yeovil game where the ref must have warned their keeper about time wasting at least 5 times.

No he wasn't, he was injured. Ref don't book players for being injured, even if they suspect that they are not genuine

As said before, no excuse for our performance but the ref was abject.

The Moussa incident, the ball was well out. I was sat by the near post and could see grass between the ball & white line. Moussa then lunged OUTSIDE the box.

Cameron's tackle was all ball, the player then fell into Cameron.

Their two centre halves pushed off at every corner/free kick into our box. Martin was flattened by one right under the refs nose. Nothing given.

Their number 4 intentionally stood/stamped on Martin as he walked away.

McSheffrey was blatantly pushed over in the corner by the scoreboard, seconds later we were pulled up for something, I have no idea what.

Countless times the ball went out of play and the 'assistants' missed it.

Their striker, number 16, nearly kicked Cameron's face off in both halves, no free kicks. Yet any time their player was touched around our box, the ref gave it.

This is the first time I've complained about refs this season, Heywood was truly awful and if ever I said a ref had an agenda, this would be it.

The ref was poor, but that had no influence on the outcome, we were outplayed from start to finish.

Am glad it was not just me who thought the ref was very poor, but regardless of how crap he was the better team did win yesterday.
However, the red did not help the game, he and his two linesmen were crap.
Not sour grapes, but they were rubbish

As a swindon fan I can agree with this. We had a home game the other week I can't think who it was against it was Preston or Hartlepool. Anyway the keeper wa wasting time like I've never seen. He actually pushed the red twice when he came over to warn him and didn't even get a booking.

With Saturdays game we had some bad decisions I mean who can forget that blatant penalty that ended up a free kick? Not to mention the countless balls that were nearly out the stands but play continued. Refs in general are shite in this league but only one way to change it.... Promotion lol we are both tier 3 what more can you expect
