You wouldn't guess this is Bartons big chance to impress. Not scapegoating him, they're all awful

I hope Barton does get some stick. 5 yard passes sideways and backwards. Sound like some other City midfielder scapegoat we know?

I don't think anyone could intentionally do worse than O'Brien's talent of giving the ball away when under zero pressure.

2-0 down and game over. Second game in succession 2-0 down at half time. That's both to top of the league and bottom of the league. Sums us up perfectly. We are crap.

Nothing to lose now, give him a go. They are a physical team though, all look strong

Shocking 1st half, no attacking threat whatsoever and don't appear to have any idea going forward!

Not sounding good so far. Not sure we've got much on the bench that will make an impact or be able to change the game. Change of formation at half time?

Shows the danger of not winning the recent 'easy' games, we're currently 1 point off the relegation places.

We only have two subs; would using them make much of a difference? I don't think it will. Although we need to do something......

Players not doing the basics would suggest confidence is very low.

Pugh-dreadful. Jackson-working hard. McQuoid - McVoid. Coulibaly - 6 minute wonder. Barton - pointless. Defence - all over the place. Huff and puff- 100%. Attacking threat -0%

I meant from the injury, but that did make me laugh (in a sort of gallows humour sense).
Started raining here now to add to my depressed state. Hopefully SP is doing his stuff in the dressing room, and we'll come out fighting for the second half.

Barton or coubillay must go off. They have no defensive attributes whatsoever.

Miller was signed as a forward and may as well get a game. Mcquiod and Jackson look hopelessly ineffective.

2-0 down. Game over. If we're 2-0 up it's never over!!

Maybe Miller and jackson up front with maddison just behind. Much rather we lose 4-0 but give it a go than sit back and play for a 2 nil loss

I don't think any footballer goes out to be purposefully crap. Not at our level anyway.

Is it too late for us all to go to Lord_Nampil's wedding? That's got to be more fun than this!

Why doesn't Haynes start anymore? We were doing well when he was playing.

Maybe if we plant land mines in the penalty area and put up barbed wire and lay treacle down the flanks.

That might just give us a small chance.

Tired. Common feature in footballers

Although to his defence, he was showing tiredness and we can't afford to knacker the young lads out

That said, looks like Maddison on for Coulibaly

Anyone already laughing about Pressley 's post match comments to come?

Let me guess he is proud of his players as a group and can't fault their effort against one of the best teams in this league

Not crap on purpose. But just a lack of effort-turn up, put in a half arsed display, collect the pay cheque. You can forgive a player being out of his depth if he is at least looking motivated. This group just doesn't and the manager is as responsible as they are for that.
