Leaving for Crawley in an hour...in very sombre mood. Haven't felt like this on the opening day before, fresh from yesterday's newest kick in the nutsack..playing catch up already in a poor league, with a weak squad, a manager who fills me with no confidence, no home games to look forward to for 3 years, possible hammerings at the likes of Crawley. Today may be our lowest day ever! Is there actually any way back from this?

Would love the boys to pull something out of the bag in the face of adversity but I can't see anything else than a 4-0 drubbing at this moment in time

I'm sure the SBA will be in fine voice nevertheless!

I feel alienated from the club now. This post is the sign of optimism if ever there was one! Are you a Northampton SISU or a Sky Blue?

Are you likely to go to be at Sixfields? Hope not because we really need peope like you to demonstrate that you are Coventry through and through. Enjoy the game. If you see Fisher give him a good strong shake of the hand for me.

Hi Fokker, I too feel alienated and just downright depressed. I will never step foot in that ground unless it was classed as a genuine away game (just because it would be funny to see Tim's face and the national media would love us packing out the away end in that shed).

SISU have torn my club apart..yes ACL and the council have contributed significantly (particularly yesterday) but the entire mess couldve quite easily been avoided if they had behaved respectfully and professionally.

But we are where we are and the only way is down..I mean up!

If I see Tim I will shake one of my own hands but in a cupped motion holding an imaginary penis waving it side to side..i will then shout 'PILE ON' at the top of my lungs to my fellow Sky Blue-ites. A good squashing is the least he deserves the yeti

setting off shortly myself. it's a very strange first day of the season, no idea what to expect. guess it will either be a very sombre mood or everyone will really go for it. would love a win but can't see it happening.

you know you've got serious problems when you're getting sympathy from Leicester and Villa fans.

Dear oh dear we are playing Crawley who only have 15 fit senior players in their squad not Barcelona! They are certainly not gong to be up there challenging for promotion!!! Our squad is on a par if not stronger then theirs and taking all the off field shit to one side on paper this is a game we should be aiming to come away with at least a point today.

No faith in Sisu, ACL & Council can agree with but we need to have a little bit of faith in players and manager ........certainly for the opening game of the season surely! Come on boys pusb

I used to look forward to the start of a new season. Even more so the first home game. Not so anymore.

The season is a disaster already!

-10 stranded at the bottom of the leauge.

Relegation nailed on.

Once injurys kick in. We are in big trouble!

Thats even before a ball is kicked.

Oh and did i mention we are not playing in COVENTRY!

NOPM!

In my view, the moment they set foot in Sixfields they cease to be the Sky Blues. Maybe this is the last time you see the real Sky Blues play?

That is exactly why it will not be the lowest point today. As long as we're here and still prepared to travel to places like Crawley then we can hold our heads up high.

I'm fed up of people having sympathy for us. We don't do sympathy, we'll fight till the game is won!!

City are now odds on favourites to be relegated.

First opening game of season I have missed for nearly 40 years!

Just cannot bear to support Otium FC. City exist, but they right now aren't the club I have supported for such a large part of my life.

NOPM sisu out
