Sawyers been the best opposition player at the Ricoh for me this season, looked a class above anything else on the pitch (Armstrong excluded obvs).

I go by what I've seen and going on that, I don't see any improvement imminently. I'll be there Tuesday but more wishful of good performance rather than hopeful. If you think the recent 3 months have been a joy to watch then clearly you don't go

I have been to 32/34 matches, i cant do midweek away mostly but went to bradford . Point is this season overall has been much better, fact, the issue for me is games we have drawn and should have put to bed ,the losses Wouldn't be so damaging then

Players don't play consistently brilliantly week-in and week-out shock.

Playing okay just occasionally would help though.

Don't disagree. However this is not the first bad run a team has ever gone on and it won't be the last.

Crying for mommy and asking for the manager to be sacked won't help.

I sincerely hope we can turn this around and end the season on a high.

After all regardless of what has happened since Christmas it's still rhe best season we've had in years.

Not over yet, Torch. Don't speak too soon.

If it were over now I would agree with you, but there are still 12 games to go.

Could be a long way to fall yet.

12 games to go. This could yet be a great season.

It could. Only if we change though. If the song remains the same there is only one way this season is heading.

Also, as I have said before, I have been positive all season long and it's only been about three weeks now where realism has kicked in for me, so to say I am forever pessimistic is quite preposterous, pax.

Even if we just carry on playing he same way and teams keep nullifying us?

I would find it more odd for us to believe it will all just come together again.

We have played the same way all season. Why is that suddenly going to work again after not working for nigh on 4 months?

That thinking is what I would call odd, Torch.

Plenty of games left, but three less than a couple of weeks ago.

Not quite.

I want him to change things to give us a chance at reaching our play-off target. That is what I want.

I feel if he doesn't change things and believes we can keep playing the same way and it will all come good, then he is wrong.

I also think if we just keep on the same path we will not make the play-offs.

If he just stubbornly refuses to change things and we keep losing and keep sliding, THEN I would want him sacked.

I would now consider not making the top 6 a failure. I wouldn't sack him based on that though, but if this run of 3 wins becomes something like 4 wins in 21 or 22 matches, then yes, because something would be very clearly wrong.

If we keep on sliding and end the season in a slump, where is the optimism for next season?

We carry on like we are and I would hate to see the season ticket sales for next year and the fact that this kind of slump has already happened to him twice before surely won't give a single fan any degree of confidence that it won't happen yet again next year!

Bottom line for me is:

1. Not making the play-offs now would be a failure.

I wouldn't sack him on the basis that though.

2. If the slump continues for the next 4 or 5 matches and we keep losing however, with him just keep on playing the same failing system, then yes, then I would want him sacked.

Long way to go from that position though.

I think if we lost 7 or 8 matches in a row, or had no wins in say 10 games, then the majority of fans would want him sacked.

3. What I do want is him to put into practice what he said at the start of the season, that of our having to adapt our game based on who we are playing and the state of pitches and climate etc.

He said we would need to adapt our style of play and have other ways of playing in our locker.

THAT is what I want to see.

If I just wanted him sacked I would say so.

I am not changing PUSB for anyone!

Trust me Otis that won't do anything.

You didn't want Thorn sacked though, Don and we should have sacked him much earlier than we did.
