Come on then arm-chair 'supporters', lets hear your latest line of excuses for not attending?

Well, they can't be accused of not trying this year. Great manager, great team, great football, cheap ticket offers.

£50 for 3 games is a great offer. Near the top of the league, decent signings, playing entertaining football. Would be all over this if I lived nearer.

Will probably have to make do with one home game next month.

That's a good offer. They certainly are trying this season.

Great to see the partnership with CRFC still working together.

Would like to think my endless badgering of both for the last few years has had a part to play in this! Promotion seasons for both please!

Not doing a lot wrong at the moment. As they say in my trade: "you've got to catch them being good".

Well done CCFC, very good offer for October, hope people do take it up, would be a shame for people to miss the football that we are playing now, just need the team to keep performing like they have done at home.

No real excuses for those living in Cov and the surrounding area, these prices are far cheaper than the price of admission to my local team, Braintree, two leagues below us. Would be great to see 14K+for these games.

It's been a few years since I've looked forward so much to the long return trip to Cov for the home games. #PUSB

Although in fairness this was probably your excuse prior to this offer as well?...

Thinking about this in a bit more detail is this offer actually going to appeal to those people that currently aren't attending matches? After all the cost of buying a match ticket for any game is only £18 if done online.

Is a £4 saving over three games going to make any difference?

It locks in the famously fickle City fan though. We could lose one or two and a few thousand would soon drop off the gate. Get them tied in while we're doing well and they're there throughout.

But where is the motivation for the casual fan in the first place if the saving is only £4 overall, or £1.33 per game?

I would say to any fan who can afford to get up there to do it, it's very exciting to watch and won't last forever make the most of this opportunity to see some of England's finest young players in a city shirt. I renewed my season ticket because of Tony Mowbray and I am glad I did.

The motivation is generally the product on the pitch, which is partly why multi packages don't work. It's difficult for the club. It has support who want some form of bribe to attend.

The club has everyones details who have attended a Coventry City match, right? Is it just as easy as sending out bulk emails\notifications?

If someone turns up and pays on the cash gates (the most likely 'casual' fan), the club won't know who they are.

I'm sure even those 'casual' fans that usually pay on the gate have bought at least one ticket in the last 5 years from the club and therefore will be ok be database. The PNE JPT game and Gillingham games were not pay on the gate.

This is the 1st season that the club appear to have got things right in terms of ticket sales and promotions. Can't fault Waggott for trying, let's hope for a few bums on seats for 3 very winnable fixtures! Anything less than 9 points from those games would be disappointing!

maybe he is now concentrating at what he should be doing rather than involving himself on the football side of things where he had about as much ability as the average fan.

Completely agree. Venus has been a savior in that sense, as much as that fat wanker Fisher solely concentrating on building the new stadium and away from controlling the club (so basically doing fuck all. The best thing for him).

Does that count?

Agree that the club's PR has been great since TM has joined and ticket prices are good value imo.

Apart from this particular promotion clearly hasn't been thought through. The concession offer of £40 is £1 MORE than the usual price (admittedly if purchased online).
