CP hasn't done anything innovative since the Urban Protection range. It's now just a fashion label with a lens stuck on the side of the arm. Why? It's pointless. At least a watchviewer on the wrist or lenses in the hood had a purpose.

If we all sat down then I could half understand, as I honestly can't remember the last time I sat down at an away game (anywhere) then what's the point in seat policing people. It's not like a home game where you choose your block, row and seat number on Where in the ground you'd like to sit, the just send you you tickets in numerical order. There's enough room for everybody to stand, just find a gap big enough and stand in it!Never quite got the issue with this, is it difficult for some people to understand where there seats are so they just sit anywhere?
For an away game where we don't take a big following its fine, just sit where you want but if I turn up to a sold out away end at Brighton and somebody is sitting in my seat then of course I will make them move.

8 of us got into 4 seat spaces at MK Dons. Nobody cried, we just watched the football.That's not always the case though, plenty of away games where I've picked mine and my friends specific seats online. If I turn up with 8 mates and some people are sat in our seats it then means we all usually have to split up. There's not that much room in a sold out game, Luton being an example.

As I've stated (I'm sure earlier on this thread), that my 9yo son was landed on by 2 coked up dicks at Notts County, there was no overcrowding in the seats there, just dicks acting dicks cuz they've had too much flat lager and powdered their nose a few too many times!It kind of is, because there were too many people crammed into the space. Somewhere like MK is generous with space as well compared to places like Lincoln.

It's finding a nice balance between fan groups!
You get the stone island brigade or the "S.I.B" as I will now refer to them, who are rowdy, sweary and coked up to fuck, but at least they come in numbers and make noise. The home fans know their there and the players (generally) appreciate the noise.
Then you get the football tourists when you have a day out at Brighton for example, the "your sat in my seat" kind. That will cheers
a goal but get annoyed that they can't see the match because your standing in the way!
If we could just take 3000 in between, polite to other fans but make loads of noise every game, that'd be lovely.

the last 3 (seated) away games I've been to have been a free for all to be honest. Still preferable to Newports and Forest Greens uncovered terrace in the pissing rain!

At the end of the day while it might seem harsh there isn't anybody going to a game that doesn't know you aren't supposed to be doing it and therefore theres a risk attached.The Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985.
It is on offence for a person to enter or attempt to enter a football ground while in possession of a flare, smoke bomb or firework. The sentence for these offences can be as much as three months in prison, and in many cases, fans who have no previous convictions are being given prison sentences for attempting to enter a football ground with a smoke bomb in their pocket as the courts take these offences very seriously.
There are two different offences (1) possession in the football ground; and (2) possession while attempting to enter. Although logically, attempting to enter a football ground seems to be less culpable than a fan who has managed to get the smoke bomb, flare or firework into the football ground, in real terms the courts do not consider one offence to be more serious than the other. Fans searched prior to entering the football ground and found to be in possession of a firework, flare or smoke bomb, have still been given custodial sentences.
What does 'attempting to enter' a football ground mean?
The courts have decided that 'attempting to enter' means much more than a person who is searched at the turnstiles. Fans have been given a prison sentence for carrying a smoke bomb in their pocket when exiting the train station closest to the football ground, or when walking through the car park on the way to the football ground. A court is likely to decide that a fan who is in possession of a ticket and is close to the ground is ‘attempting to enter’.
Is it more serious to carry a flare or a firework instead of a smoke bomb?
Although a firework or flare may be seen as more dangerous than a smoke bomb to most people, the courts do not seem to distinguish between them. Fans have been sentenced to three months in prison for carrying a smoke bomb, without having actually let it off.
Be warned that even though fans may not think that having a smoke bomb or flare in their pocket is a serious offence, the police and football club take it very seriously and even a fan with no previous convictions faces a real risk of going to prison.
