It's 500k we wouldn't otherwise had, as suspect he would have been let go whatever happens end of the season. Hopefully has some sort of sell on incase he really progresses. Think he will be a decent championship striker - good news is we are clearly looking to not be at that level. Let's hope Doug backs that in the next 10 days.

If he had been scoring loads at League 1 we may have kept him. After his so so start to the season this is the best move for all parties.

I saw him play at Darmstatd and looked a good prospect. He is very tall and looked calm.

Likely most people are a bit surprised by this. Who knows what is going on behnid the scenes but it could be he needs a change of environment. If he is from London , this is a good move from him and good luck to him.

He may have been out of contract at the end of the season but I'd be surprised if we didn't have a year in our favour, hence us getting a fee rather than QPR waiting out till the summer. I can't imagine he'd of had clubs in a better position queuing up.

Probably just makes sense for everyone. Given our position it's very unlikely we'd have been able to offer him a chance in the first team. And £500k is a decent fee given his level of experience.

Good move all round really. He'll get to be back in London and it's a decent amount of money for us for a player that's nowhere near the first team, especially if he's not progressing how we would expect him to.
