Fair play to the lad for carrying on and actually improving after this. Nasty cut that

Can’t seem to get any image hosting sites to work so you can see the photos on the thread, but the photos are in the links.

Definitely gonna leave a beast of a scar. Fair play to him for playing on. Normally you need stitches within 2 hours don't you? So put the team/game first.

Should have been a red - real cheap shot.

Did you see it? Was it intentional?

Was straight in front of me - hard to tell if it was intentional, but easy to tell it was a dangerous challenge, I thought it looked a cheap shot to get man (and ball?).

I thought at the time it was a poor late challenge and the ref bottled it and should have sent him off, he stayed down as he thought he was in trouble.

He pretended to be concussed to avoid a red card

Will he be ok to play Tuesday or will the 7 day rule for head injuries kick in ?

Only saw it when it happened. Would like another look...but my initial feeling was that only O’Hare was playing the ball

He just lay down and when he realised he was getting away with it got up, just a big donkey. We will see how many games he misses due to his concussion.

Seems to suggest it might not have been head to head

It was a red card for me. While the referee didn't make any obvious big mistakes he was far too easily swayed by the players. In the second half particularly Bolton were getting free kicks every time they went to ground.

Nothing will beat the wall being way past ten yards I didn’t think he was going to stop

From my angle didn’t really see to much in it, looked like the just both went for it, people around me weren’t really calling for anything more wincing

Can’t see him playing for at least a couple of weeks and even then with protection over it.

He’ll play, it’s only a few stitches.

You kidding?! I reckon that's a couple of weeks out minimum.

I was square on for it. It seemed to me that Nsiala launched himself into as he was a metre away from the ball at the time O'Hare was in mid-air jump. I thought it was dangerous play, not necessarily serious foul play, and was a yellow card offence. That all said, would need to see it back.

Only if they think he had concussion, I would have thought. Be a blow if we lose him.

He played on no bother.

Actually played better.

He’s fine.

MR said no concussion and fine for Tuesday. Provided they give him a bandage, he should be ok. Obviously won't take any risks with him (and wouldn't have thought Villa would let us take risks)

It looked like the Bolton player was KO’d from that collision, he was motionless for over 10 seconds.
