Looks like the Rugby club are whacking big skips outside the turnstyles because the football team haven't sorted the groundshare with them.

It's because the ground is for sale and the owners prefer to sell to someone else other than the rugby club.

Isnt it trespassing then if they don't own it?

Also, why don't they just get somebody with a lorry to come move the skips and dump them on the rugby blokes front garden?

Bloody hell Nick you made me go on the Telegraph site without warning!

So the rugby club used to own the ground but not it belongs to the football club. The football club won't come to an agreement about the rugby club playing there so they've had skips delivered blocking the entrance.

Wonder if Fisher has read that.

Why don't they just move them? How are they allowed to dump them if it's not their land?

Unless this is factually incorrect or missing vital information it seem the football club are very much in the right on this:

From what I remember Nuneaton Rugby originally owned all the land, including the stadium.
The boro sold Manor Park, and ground shared with Nuneaton Rugby at Liberty Way.
Nuneaton Boro then purchased the land from Nuneaton Rugby, but it looks like they may have only purchased the stadium. All the other land (In red on the map below), car park and training pitches, are still owned by Nuneaton Rugby with option of Nuneaton Rugby using the stadium/pitch for Competition matches.
So it seems when Nuneaton Boro was liquidated, they changed the terms of the contract.

However I could be wrong on some of the details.

Looks a bit like they don't want to agree to the same offer they had before and want their own so will block the ground off for the football until they get it.

They should pick up the skips and dump them on the pitch of the Rugby team.

So it sounds like the rugby club are blocking access via their land but there is also access via the football clubs land. The current plan seems to be to alter the ground so that they aren't in anyway reliant on the rugby land.

Also heard that they have put skips around the mini bus the football club use for youth teams and community work. Bang out of order if that's correct.

Surprise, surprise! self entitled rugby wankers at it again.

They also used the skips to block the community mini bus. Tossers.

More from the Nuneaton News

NUNEATON Rugby club bosses have explained their decision to block off Nuneaton Town's mini bus with yet more skips.

Nuneaton Rugby Football Club (NRFC) have told the News that they have been forced to take the action as requests to Nuneaton Town Football Club to move the mini bus have been ignored.

The Nuns say that the mini bus is illegally parked on NRFC owned land and that they have asked the football club to move it – but this has not taken place.

The entrance to the stadium is via Nuneaton Rugby's Land, there is no direct access to the stadium without first using Nuneaton Rugby Land. See Map above in #13.

Is the rugby club run by a load of school kids? Are they expecting anyone to sympathise with them acting this way?

I've heard that the next action is to take both their jumpers and the ball home.

They will then see who wins in the my dad's bigger than your dad stakes.

NUNEATON Rugby Football Club has banned Nuneaton Town Football Club from accessing any of its land.

In a statement to the News, the Nuns have said.......

Can't see the rugby club winning this one. The ground is being altered so no access to their land is needed. That's the end of any leverage they had.
