So again all of the people outraged by us moving to Northampton think it would be ok to move treacle.

So do you think all the people not happy with the move to Northampton should not attend the new stadium unless it is built in Coventry's boundaries?
I am not happy with the Sixfields move as I believe the FA were told there was no other option.
I do not believe this. I believe there was other options.
Was has that got to do with Nuneaton?
Because people think it's ok to move Nuneaton?
Not sure how that is relevant to the Northampton move.
Do you think that move was justified?
It's quite sad because if the improbable did happen and Nuneaton moved into the Ricoh then 75% of members on here would be rejoicing on here about ACL getting one over on the club by moving another team in and rubbing it in.Because people who think it was wrong to move us to Northampton think it is fine to move another team....

For me it's not the same thing. What we are talking about here is Nuneaton moving, most likely on a temporary basis, if promoted as their current ground is not up to league standard. They would be moving to the nearest ground that is league standard and it just so happens to be empty. In my opinion that's a million miles away from leaving a top class stadium to move to a much smaller lower standard stadium 35 miles away just because you don't want to pay the rent.
If their fans were in favour of it I would have no issues. If their fans were against it I would support them in any action they took against the move.
You mean De Montford Park (5.4 miles from liberty way) not the Ricoh (7.1 miles)?

I take it you have written letters and voiced your concerns about the proposed moving of West Ham?
A lot of west ham fans are against the move. Fanbase is very split.
How much did they get for Bolyn Ground£75m.?? Rent on New place £3m.??
should be able to chew through that short term benefit In around 18m. .
3 million rent!!!!!
That's nearly treble an outrageous cash cow blood sucking landlords recent surely?

Just a guess tbf Don
Based on Ethiad, I know it's lazy but it is decent sum they're paying.

£15m up front then £2m a year. They also have to pay a one of payment if the club is sold in the next 10 years. And guess what? They don't get all the pie money. They get money from ticket sales and a share of F&B. Not certain but I think the money generated by any other events goes to LLDC, West Ham will be tenants of LLDC on a 99 year lease.
I just can't believe this is true!!!
Well actually I can really
Why wouldn't it be true? Its the Olympic stadium in London not a concrete shithole in Foleshill.
They do get income from it - not just football related income and the deal struck for the ground sale means its free for the next 30 years and will gain the club enough revenue to pay for it all over again by then.
I don't think it would have been quite the same arrangement had orient moved in.
Ain't you getting bored yet of describing the ricoh as a concrete shit hole in Foleshill, because it really isn't.
It's a good stadium that just needs the seats rearranging so football supporter's are the first consideration and a team where the owners are more concerned with engaging with the fan base in a positive manner in an effort to fill it than they are in their investors.
Or perhaps I should revert back to using SISU so you can tell me how childish I am.
