.....what was the point of us signing Folivi last season? He came in on loan from Watford and was with us for 3 months, only came on as a sub in the last game at Scunny when we were down already. I get that Slade signed him and perhaps MR didn't rate him, but one sub app in 3 months is weird especially when we struggled for goals....was he unfit? If so why didn't get he back to Watford (or did he?) whilst he regain fitness?

I know this can be filed in the "who cares?" box but I came across his name today and I wondered why the heck we got a loannee in to sit on the bench and block our own player from coming in.

Yeah that was ridiculous. I even remember the adverts which emphasised the name change to ensure continuity of brand awareness. I always preferred Mars bars.

It happens regular here players loaned in who never or hardly ever play, we have 2 now scouted I assume by the expert talent spotter Tommy Widdrington

Robins watched Barrett himself if I remember correctly and said he was built like a ‘young Wayne Rooney’

Jif to Cif was a welcome change in my house, lost count of the amount of times we'd accidentally poison ourselves on pancake day.

When he signed, Watford’s youth team were several places below ours in the league. Didn’t make sense why we’d use him over one of our own. Especially considering how many he and ours had scored at that level.

When we won at Wembley he went full on John Terry by taking off his training stuff and wearing his full kit as he celebrated with the rest of the team. He did this whilst carrying a selfie stick.

Ah! All makes sense now! He brought Vincenti in because he looked a bit like Peter Crouch and plays the DKE twins because they remind him of Jimmy Krankie.

Probably savouring the moment as he knows it'll be the closest he gets to winning anything at Wembley. From what I've read of him he seems like a poor man's Chuba Akpom / Alex Nimely (*shudders*)

I liked Alex Nimely. He didn’t score enough goals but I thought he was a good player. I never saw the other guy play.

On about Akpon. He played a few games at Northampton didn’t he? I watched us away that season but can’t remember him playing.
