Scot 1-0
Great game proper end to end battle full commitment from all players.
Made me smile seeing strach in action and remembering the days of questioning if he was good enough for us.
Now look at him and look at us

Nonsense, Messi often disappears for long periods of the game. The difference is Nouble does it against Plymouth and Peteborough, Messi against Athletico Madrid and Real Madrid.

Bollox, the difference isnt who he is doing it against, it is who he has in support, 9 outfield players that can appear to be 12 v 9 outfield players that can appear to be 7. Messi can get by by simply having stronger players around him, Nouble cant because he dosnt, therefore he has to perform better on a more regular basis at his required level!

In the players first eight appearances...

McGoldrick - 2 Goals
Clarke - 4 Goals
Nouble - 4 Goals

Considering Nouble has been injured in between those 8 appearances and the fact that the Worcester game counted despite his short first half stint in the game, the man has done well.

You have to also take into consideration that Clarke and McGoldrick played in far superior teams than the one Nouble is playing for.

I know it is only 8 games, but the guy seems to love the club already.

Both those lads played under a different manager with a different ethos and I believe an all round better squad.

i dont disagree, although the flip side is they both played as lone strikers too in that period. I suppose i'm just making the point that perhaps we were too quick to hail Nouble the new saviour

Yeah, although Nouble has been poor recently, he's in a team far worse than that of the ones McGoldrick and Clarke were in.

Agree we're not seeing the best of him ,Inconsistent ,possibly not happy and not buying into It ,Mcgoldrick Is definitely an all round player ,without

doubt the most skilful of the 3.

Struggling to see Nouble ever reaching the heights that the other two did.

I presume it's his attitude that let's him down? As it's clear he has ability, but too many times he just hasn't shown up!

completely agree. he's seriously in danger of having to drop down to league two to get some form. Just shows how important attitude and mentality is.....altough i do worry about how hit n miss his first touch is.

Nouble worst of those three for sure ......McGoldrick 1, Clarke 2, Nouble 3.......by a mile lazy and poor attitude. Though do not see point of opening this thread up facts speak for themselves.

McGoldrick regular first xi selection in a top championship side
Clarke - reserve but regularly on bench for championship side
Nouble - not getting a sniff at Championship level and even allowed to play for us in fa cup - how did that work out again...????
