2nd bottom in L2 and played a game more than the others. Anyone that don't think it can happen to us next season is in for a shock.

Was looking at the league myself earlier to see who we'll be playing next season and was shocked to see them down there first off, my second thought is exactly what you've said CV. Scary isn't it.

Think any realistic CCFC fan / supporter knows only too well non league is most definitely a distinct possibility .

I guess that the moderately good news is that Coventry United look unlikely to be promoted this year - a first for them I believe. So we won't be playing them for a few seasons yet.

I would be more shocked if we didn't go down next year and I think we are certainties this year.

The more this saga goes on under SISU the more attracted to the club finishing and to be reborn as something else under different management. Can't believe I'm saying it.

Coventry United are small time, a vanity project for people trying to cash in on the club moving to Northampton.
Not sure why people keep mentioning them on here but if they ever play league football I'll eat my hat.
There are so many long-established non-league teams in the conference that have never played in the football league, those Cov united chancers have got no hope.

Exactly the same here. Didn't realise that Tranmere were in the NL, either.

Can't wait for the derby against Solihull Moors.

If we carry on down the path we're currently taking, in a few years time Cov Utd could find
Themselves a promotion away from entering the football league, whilst representing the
Largest city (by far) with no league club.

Can't remember where I saw it, but an old league table with both Notts County and Grimsby in the top flight, Grimsby where 4th in the league!!! I really fear this is our destiny to be in non league in 18 months.

The mentions are a reaction to the utter failure of CCFC. If we were in with a chance of getting to the play-off's (the absolute minimum of where we should be) rather than glued to the bottom of the table then they wouldn't be happening would they.
