I think it's a tad speculative to say he wasn't going to score, as it wasn't an impossible angle to score from. But Marosi certainly would have had a far better chance of saving his attempt than trying to save his penalty.
I've calmed down a bit now and I know everyone is Blaming Max and Mcfadzean but having looked at it again I can't believe that we have 2 of the centre halves so wide on the pitch in a game that has seconds left and against a team just below us in the table. We have basically made it 1 at the back and left Mcfadzean exposed.
It is so basis its untrue. Surely at that stage the defenders should be close together to offer cover in case we lose the ball.
Even most Sunday league teams don't defend like that at that stage of a game.
