I think it is.
But the early signs are encouraging. Still need the ground situation sorted, that's the big one.

Think the Sheaf contract extension is a hugely positive signal.

Never thought that Greek dancing with a wobbly belly should have got them through to the final.

Coventry promoted this season with Leicester coming down would definitely help.

Do you think we actually have money to spend? I know we’ve always played the poor card but with a new owner at the helm will the tide turn? The fact we were linked with Cresswell in Jan and had a bid in for him assumes to me we have a bit of money to buy players now.

So refreshing hearing what they are doing at Ryton, I feel we are starting to become a proper football club. Ryton is academy level facilities so to hear work is being done there is music to my ears

To me the main point isn't that we can afford to buy players.

We're one of the rare top Championship sides near the top of the table that isn't financially in a mess trying to get into the Prem. We've already done that and are finally on our way back up. Several clubs are just one season away from disaster.

Wasnt the rumour that the Creswell bid part of a deal for Vik?

I don’t believe so, I thought we had bid about £600k but I did hear someone on here say it gave them first dibs on Gyokeres

If we sell Gyokeres we will have probably more to spend than most clubs in the division.

Obviously depends on sales, but even without any I think we'll have a little bit more next season, as DK is supposedly not charging interest on loans or extracting management fees. Not expecting it to be an earth shattering amount, but might be enough to have 1 extra signing.

We will need more than one signing in the Prem next season.

But if that happens we'll have Prem TV money and so will be able to make a lot more signings.

I'm just talking about all things being equal in this division compared to the previous owners.

If we’re still in the Championship, he doesn’t even need to put loads in, just get a good price for Vik and Gus and allow Robins to spend it. We’ve got a load going off the books and could probably get 4/5 decent Championship players in without even increasing the wage budget, wouldn’t take much more to give us a proper squad and generate a bit of excitement.
