So , Sisu think the rent should reduced , How many yrs they been here ? and only now they talk to the council. These people would have you think that they are clever by staying silent ! If they were that clever they would have looked at the rent situation yrs ago ? CCFC is a ruderless ship with no captain , the only agenda they have is there own pockets. SO I say to the council play hard ball with them , and if they want to disolve the club let them.. Lets someone else start again as these pillocks cant be trusted !!! :jerkit:
Sisu bought the club with their eyes wide open. They knew the situation. They have totally failed both the club and it's supporters and now they want everyone to pay for their failure!
If I was a Coventry resident, I wouldn't be happy about effectively subsidizing a loss-making football club by cutting the rent, especially when the council has to make other vital cuts in its services.
We know it's very hard to get the club at break even point, but it would help if our support rivalled the likes of Norwich, Forest, Man City, Leeds, the Sheffield clubs and even Incester in the third tier by having 20k plus home gates. I can see us average 11-12k next season, about half where we ought to be.
The council won't benefit if we leave the Ricoh, but they know the chances of that are nil. Why should they negotiate? They already built the ground for us!!
No wonder they won't sell their share of ACL to Sisu!
