Think i am beyond caring now. I just want us bought and then see where we are and start the re-build from there. Ideally would be nice to hang on to Championship status and have good crack next year, but if not, i will enjoy a promotion season the following year

So your saying that, if we get bought out too late to save us from relegation, but have investment by someone who cares we still wont be in contention for promotion from Div 1!! Christ glad i don't sit next to you each season then....why bother supporting us at all?

We are being run by Sisu, we can't afford a sense of humour.

Nah I call myself Rich, cause that's the name my parents gave me. If it was up to me I'd be called "whinging little tw*t" but we can't have it all our own way can we.

These bloody updates are doing my head in, as i don't know any insider news at all, i have absolutly no idea what's going on and these updates are not helping my mental health.
Surely a takeover won't collapse if someone who's "in the know" spills a bit of true gossip on here.

Think I will just wait and see what happens, waited long enough now so it will make no differance anymore to wait till it happens, if it does happen at all.

To be quite honest, if there is to be a takeover and it does come too late to save us from relegation wouldn't it indeed be great to start next season in League One splashing out on players here there and everywhere to make us a real force!

Well, I can dream can't I.

Agreed, it's looking like another "false alarm". Last time started with enthusiasm and gradually petered out into "it could take longer than expected...be patient...it might happen..oh actually, nope, it's gone." Not that I doubt the intentions of Hoffman and co, or the people who have heard things. Ultimately, I just can't see SISU walking away, and whatever people have heard, if it includes the crucial incentive that SISU need, it would have leaked by now. I think we're in for another few years of being run into the ground. I strongly expect our best two performing players of this season to go at Christmas-teams are queueing up...

not much of an update

which, is why, WE can make an impact,
let's get an 'epetition' going and get ALL FOOTBALL FANS onboard,
we are not alone,
there are too many clubs that are being ruined by unscrupulous owners whose only edict is to further their own deviously financial aims,

It is Hoffman still, but I really don't know much more than that. I want to be positive, and I won't give up until the scum are gone, but essentially it feels like deja vu. Not through any fault of Hoffman, more through the obstinateness and under-hand shenanigans of SISU.

If I didn't know any better I would have said that Sisu are Leshtur supporters and they are trying to destroy us from within.

Believe it when I see it tbh...bored of this now, thought Hoffman and his one pound disapeared off the radar long ago..

Too many people on here thinking their ITK and far more hanging off every word they say!

If it is Hoffman who is bringing people in lets all hope it is done properly this time (by both sides even if Hoffman is not involved in any way whatsoever) for the sake of the fans, the club and the history of the club because I think we are proberly becoming a real laughing stock now especially to our midland counterparts.
My only concern about Hoffmans bid is will we be under the same sort of ownership, where we will be run by faceless owners?

If a takeover was completed how many of you would want Thorn to stay in charge? or would people rather a more "experienced/proven" manager take over?
Just wondering what the general thoughts were from city fans.

I would say either give Thorn his scouts job back and get Billy Davies in or that type of manager, or allow him to keep his job. I would be happy with the takeover period.

I get the feeling he would return to his scouts role and a manager with some real prowess would be drafted in.

If we DO get a takeoover happen I feel AT will be replaced with a more experianced manager as I think personally AT would be better as a scout after all thats what he is.
So for me a more experianced manager is needed, weather a takeover happens or not.

I think if someone else takes over AT deserves a shot but it may be wise to bring in someone experienced to work alongside him. To be honest they should probably do this at the moment, Bobby Gould would probably do it for nothing!

everybody presumes that a takeover will mean big money for players. Could well be just another rescue job and in 2 years we'll be moaning about the new owners
