But Pressley needs to wise up, have a look at Preston the way they played, the way they were organised, the physical size of their players, their players attitude, their formation and their confidence in this formation. We looked a shambles, 532 ensures we play pretty triangles in our own half but offered no attacking threat.

SP talks about how he would like us to play but put out a load of dwarfs in this league and you will get beat regularly.

I heard from a guy at Ryton that we could only afford small players because of the food budget.

I agree with you though, we always need a nasty bloke in our team and that is where Johnson is being missed but we still need one in Midfield.

What is Doyle up to?

He made an attempt at bringing one in last season in the shape of David Prutton. Don't think he could sign a nasty midfielder if he tried.

We need a Michael Brown or somebody like that. You hate those sort of players when you play against them but it is different when they are on your team!

You misheard. It's because of a foot budget.

We pay by the inch, so can't afford anyone over 5 ft 6.

Pure thugs nearly got Preston relegated under Westley. But we certainly need a couple to give us some balance.

There is a balance but today swanson Tudguy Jackson were too weak today. Physical isn't necessarily dirty but it was an easy day for their defenders today

Pure thugs I agree but a nice balance would help one in midfield and one big forward and we have Reda, pretty players like ours may get us relegated at this rate.

It was an easy day for their midfield too. The only PNE player that got knocked about a bit was Garner and he have as good as he got,
