Most players will big up the current manager whether they believe it or not. Its a lonely life on bench once you start spouting that the manager is clueless and couldn't motivate an eager group of Scouts to learn a new knot.
who ever the new manager is he needs to bang a few heads off the wall - its to easy for them. If they work hard and give it there all a good manger will look after them but they need to know that a difficult time will be in for them at half time if they continue like they are. Worked for fergie and clough didn't it?
Sean Dyche or wise for me. The excuses wont wash with these two.
Problem is we had a manager who would not suffer fools gladly, we were sitting pretty in 4th place, then a while after that they stopped playing for him and got sacked!
