Was not at the game but heard spells and they were raving, how did he play?

He done well. Linked up well with Deegan. Set pieces could do with improvement but I won't dwell on negatives

As I said on another thread I couldn't get to the game - but my dad who was there said he was standing out in our side.

The player that Clingan should be?

Was going to start a thread on this kid, first half he was absolutely amazing. Best CM performance I have seen at the Ricoh in a long time, much better than anything Clingan has served up this season. Second half he faded out but his first half performance was fantastic. He was hitting 30 yard passes right onto the toe of his target every few minutes
It was like Clingan but less sideways and more forwards and less dwelling on the ball/mistakes.

Have a look from about 1:15 or so onwards. When he gets his range, he appears 'okay'

I'll check link in a minute but if this was the one that just scraped past the post, I thought I'd get picked up on it. I was more so referring towards the one that went quite wide ( well it looked wide from the cet) but I didn't want to have to go into specifics so just narrowed it down to set pieces. After this explanation I may as well have just done that now

Just checked link and it had nothing to do with tonight. Thanks for making me explain myself but with no relevance to the video what do ever

If only he did that tonight!! He deserved a goal for his display tonight

Would like to see him play with Conor Thomas. Very neat, composed and clearly talented. Had a great first half ran out of steam but definitely a prospect.

You can tell that him and Ninely are from a different class of football team with some of their football. If only our players read the game as well as they do sometimes

The way he sprayed the ball around reminded me of Rooney when he drops deep. Fantastic intelligent play.

Norwood looked fantastic tonight, so impressed with the lad. More performances like that and Sammy wont get his spot back. Would be interesting to see him link up with CT

It was Scholes he reminded me off. Great passing range, although he did badly fluff 2 or 3 balls and gift them to the opposition.

But in general, mightily impressive. He and Deegan played very much as a partnership, some great inter-play, much of it one-touch, transformed tempo and "Football Intelligence", both pressed, harried and tackled, and I'd be happy to see them continue that for the rest of the season. Deegan got forwards well with Norwood sitting when he did. A proper 442 central duo

Well shock horror, Manchester United youth team player has talent. Why oh why do people write players off before they've seen them play. The same thing happened with Nimely and yet people still didn't learn their lesson with Norwood.

Hull have got a couple of former Man U youth players who they initially had on loan. It'd be great to think that if either Nimely or Norwood don't make the grade in Manchester, we could similarly hold a special place in their hearts and attract them back one day. Sadly SISU are unlikely to invest anyway if that opportunity ever came, not to mention that I'm pretty certain that these two lads will have takers in the top flight if they can't force their way in at the big clubs. I don't know that Norwood will quite be Man U class, but you could see him doing a job for someone like Bolton or Villa now. Nimely will be pretty special if he can just learn to get his shot off, but as long as people keep hacking him down, we'll be fine with him as he is

We have certain individuals who only seem to want to see what could be wrong at our club, but when they are wrong are not man enough to admit so. They just look for another reason to have a go and try to wind people up. I wouldn't mind if these individuals were man enough to admit when wrong. This is the art of a keyboard warrior though.

Only shame is that players like him and nimely will only ever be temporary visitors

There was one Diagonal ball to Clarke in the first half which was just sublime.

Impressed with Norwood last night, hope he can keep it up

No reason we can't loan these two next season, i can't see either getting into their first teams for a while and maybe having them for another season long loan will be beneficial to all.

He looks a really good player reminds me of a young Paul Scholes. Would be good if we could sign him for the whole of next season on loan.

Agree with most of what's been said on here. A few balls into the box that were over hit and went straight through to the keeper, but mostly very impressive. His technique is fantastic too, kind of drills the ball to his target with a load of back spin on so it just hangs in front of a player for easy control. His pass in the first half, i think it was to Sheff on the left edge of the box was class, i groaned at first because i thought it was well over hit, but as mentioned his technique seems to slow down the ball at the last minute.
