I never said any of those about players falling out so do you want to find anything else to use as a bad example?

It's a general theme with our fans Nick. You brought up the topic of body language not me.

Yeah from being able to tell that it wasn't a sarcastic laughing in a face. Miles away from the nonsense examples you were on about.

Our shape for their second is appalling, why if Lati is exposed are we so open? We're just all over the place. The Sheaf critiques seem spot on.

Both midfielders collapsed past the CBs where Kitching was closest to the balls.

What do you mean by the Sheaf critiques? He wasn’t on the pitch if you meant him directly.

I get the optics aren’t good, especially after the capitulation in time added on.

I’ll take it one step further.. it would be nice for Lampard to (at least) show some kind of a pulse in his post match interview, rather than say that we were ‘unfortunate’ and then praise BTA. I’m not looking for a tantrum, or to single out players for abuse but the player’s attitude and the club culture starts and ends at the Head Coach. It just feels like there’s a general malaise around the players and staff. We get the platitudes pre-match regarding learning from mistakes etc, then we get the same shit in the game, followed by a bullshit sandwich during the interview afterwards.

There just doesn’t seem like there’s any kind of fire or passion from the management down to the players. That’s what pisses me off more than anything else.

At Derby apparently when he came in he completely failed to fix the drinking culture at the club. At Chelsea second spell he just said the players had switched off and there was nothing he could do. He was never going to be the guy to fire up this squad or install professionalism. The hope was they’d all be so star struck they’d play better I guess.

He also fell out with, or didn't even speak to, a lot of the players at Chelsea in his first spell either, Petr Cech had to step in as a go between.

re: the star struck, play better bit...
There was definitely excitement & expectation amongst the fanbase that the midfielders at least would go up a level given his playing experience. What's actually happened is they've gone backwards. Sheaf is even more inconsistent, Torp is almost no influence &, bar the Plymouth game, Eccles has gone from POTY calibre to one of the weakest links or simply dropped altogether. Maddening.

After driving to Cardiff and Norwich within a few days of each other and only coming away with a point, I’m glad we have a few weeks off before the next away game. I’ll admit I lost my head at FT seeing us collapse like that, but on reflection both goals were coming and they deserved at least a point.

Milan had one of his best games for a while, took his goal well and kept Sainz quiet down his flank - amazes me how some people want to cash in on him. Dovin was impressive & Kitching looked like his old self, his ability to play a pass stood out next to Thomas & Lats yesterday.

Negatives wise we couldn’t string more than 5 passes together, when we did we looked dangerous. Neither BTA or Bassett can hold the ball up, so many sloppy passes/touches from both of them that killed potentially dangerous situations (BTA’s miss right in front of us was a shocker). I say this every week on here but we are crying out for some creativity at 10, Rudoni went missing in that second half on the break

Probably.

But if we were making such a big change it was done to make everything better. So far that hasn't happened.

If we're not careful we will end up in a relegation battle.
No way the idea of it can be dismissed out of hand.

It doesn't matter how good a squad is if they don't work hard enough or don't have the right attitude (or a combination of both) then they can find themselves in trouble.

Lampard needs to start reading the riot act to some of theses players.

It’s annoying because we were 3/4 minutes away from a great win and the mood would be different. A clean sheet too.

I hate Frank Lampard, I've slept on it and I am even more pissed off about him and yesterday.

It was a terrible appointment, as I said before a trap that Doug fell gladly into.

He leaked his name to the press and dialled up the pressure on Dlug, made sure that everyone thought it was happening, and naivety/pig headed headedness from our owner handed it to him.

He has done nothing, changed nothing, and I honestly think he has sped up the decline of the team.

Doug needs to sack the fucking name that he decided he wanted and go and find a proper manager. We are sliding to mediocrity and that slide is accelerating, under a guy that doesn't have enough managerial capabilities to fix it.

It is better to nip something that isn't working in the bud early, rather than allow it to take root.

Point out a single thing or change that Lampard has made to how we are playing?

A positive or negative one, because I watch all our games and I'm yet to see any noticeable difference between what was decided was terrible and sackworthy and what shite Frank is peddling as management.

Don't really disagree with your assessment of how it's gone so far but it's much too early to start calling for a managers head.

As fans, we don't have access to anywhere near enough data, video resources, or time to make properly informed decisions or suggestions.

I'd have liked us to go and find someone who has a distinct style of play and some tactical nouse.

I can suggest a list of people that I'd have spent the time analysing and researching:

Rasmus Bertelsen - Randers
Matt Bloomfield - Wycombe
Uwe Rossler - AGF
Christian Eichner - Karlsruhe
Horst Steffen - Elversburg
Vasco Matos - Santa Clara
Mikkjal Thomassen- AIK
Ron Jans- Utrecht
Rogier Meijer - NEC

Lampard was sat there in the middle of the path, like a rough sleepers shit. Doug didn't just accidentally stand in it. He sniffed it out, talked about it, and still jumped right on top of it.

Meanwhile, we all watched on and are covered in residual splatter

I'm not sure what this even means?

I don't want a turn at being manager, but I can fuxking see when someone is out their depth and changing zero.

I haven't even posted half the stupid stuff I've seen, just the fucking obvious.
