Tatsu is out injured. Raphael I doubt will get a debut so it will be a make shift attack and we will get tonked by Norwich.

7-1 loss

He could barely walk after he was tackled in the penalty area yesterday.

6-0 loss. Someone is going to give us a proper hammering soon. Cardiff had a few glorious chances on new years day that better forwards would have put away.

Seemed like he might be fine? Don’t think he’s definitely out.

But tbh 532 might not be the worst thing anyway since we’ve looked shite in the 433 without wright and EMC.

Realistically they didn’t though did they, they had 2 good chances and scored one of them.

Got through 1 on 1 twice. Dovin saved one and forced the forward wide on the other, had a goal disallowed for offside.

Does make a nice change from conceding both of them.

well if we aren’t allowed to defend and offside goals count we probably might lose 6-0, yes.

So if Tats is out. Would go to the box. Not out of an desire but don’t know what else to play.

With no Sakamoto it's either going to be Lati to right back and MVE playing more advanced, or a switch to 3 at the back as we don't have a left winger either.

I think 3 at the back is most likely here, try and grind out a dull draw away from home

Mostly agree with this but Bidwell could probably get a rest as Dasilva is less of a liability as a wingback. I'd also rather see where Kitching is at now rather than what we know we'll get from Binks

Unless we sort out our defending we will ship goals at Norwich. We definately miss a Mc.Fazdean type to keep them organised and in their rightfull position. I saw Thomas get pulled out wide yesterday exposing the middle. Someones not doing their job right. Defensive midfielders also not back helping out enough.

Wonder if, rather than going 3 at the back, he goes for Dasilva in front of Bidwell. Seem to remember we did that a couple of times last year for some of the difficult games eg Leeds away (where it worked well).

I’ve stopped looking forward to games again, it has become that lacklustre. Only 8 months ago I was waking up excited for matches. This is a step up from the dross we’ve played recently so we should get pasted…….a draw would be a real success.

I’d give BTA a start… he’s had no real opportunity to shine so why not!! It’s basically a dead rubber reading the comments

Norwich are a side who like to attack, not like Millwaaaaaaa who sat in or Cardiff who didn't seem to know what they were doing. We may well get chances to score, but we need to be clinical if we get 1 or 2 opprtunities.

Dovin

MVE
Thomas
Kitching
Bidwell

Sheaf
Eccles
Torp

Rudoni
Simms
Assante

Assuming Saka is out, have Rudoni on the right (left footed, like Saka) and give Assante a chance to prove he's not totally useless on the side that favours him.

Not the team I'd pick ideally - I'd drop Sheaf for a start! - but meh, it's what we've got. Need a left footer at CB to stop everything going down the left side.

If Raphael can do 50-60 mins at full tilt, f*ck it, him in place of Saka and drop Sheaf. Eccles sitting, Rudoni and Torp as 8s. Not like we'll keep Norwich out is it!

Coach & Horses (5 minute walk from train station) is away friendly but gets packed out quickly. Anyone arriving early should try the city centre (Murderer’s is great) and some other gems near the cathedral. Pubs by the river are home early.

Good. Looking forward to Sainz vs Latibeaudiere. Should be a real close match up.

For me Rudoni must play in the middle. He is currently by far more effective than Sheaf/Eccles/Torp.

Pressure will be off so the players will become world beaters again. We'll get to the 5th round, possibly the Quarters.
