We just need more control in the middle of the pitch. We need a massive ball of energy player in there.

Our defenders can defend (yes, I know that sounds a hollow statement after watching that), but they are constantly exposed by forwards charging at them because we play so open. Every, and I mean every, defender is going to look ropey against that type of exposure.So what would you do with those players to change it, bearing in mind we’ve got defenders who can’t defend, we just have to out score teams, if we don’t take our chances that’s what happens, won’t be the last game we lose playing like that

If the wheels are well and truly off then of course I can see the case for bringing in the right player, but the immediate aftermath of a defeat is rarely the best time to judge that

With respect I think you’re looking in the wrong place. No one can look competent as a CH in our system. You’re completely exposed to the side and in front.
