Regardless of the final result Lampard needs to tear into these after the match.

They need a serious kick up the arse.

Said it on the match thread on Saturday but I’ll say it again: Esse is a better player but Sakamoto has more impact on the game.

Weird to say as Esse scored a belter, but one flick aside I’m not sure what else he added.

Someone needs to tear into him. The tactics are all wrong.

Worst case we've still averaged 2 points per game over the past 3 games. Back to winning ways v QPR.

Retrospective ban for the keeper?? Or is an elbow worse than a punch

He’s a massive luxury player really. Can do things no one else can but just not in the game when he’s not doing that.

Agreed but he can’t legislate for some of the shite defending and lapses of concentration the team are making.

We've got 4 tricky wingers on rotation and full backs who are very comfortable on the ball. Yet our tactic is to let Grimes drop into a back 3 and launch a diagonal ball up the pitch towards a striker, or straight over the top to run on to. Why don't we get the ball down in the middle of the park and work it over to one of those tricky wingers, with an overlapping fullback, where we can get overloads and balls into the box for our strikers, whose strength is finishing in the box. It's so broken what we are trying.

Almost exactly the same as the Wrexham game where nothing was done at half time going in in front.

The formation and tactics are one discussion point, but the thing that has me irritated is once again we are just loosing every 50/50 and not showing enough fight or desire. We cannot just show up to games and expect to win without putting the effort in. Other teams want it more than us. We have 10 minutes left. We need to do something.
