Yeah, but it's not always that simple

A new manager can change a club's fortunes completely and a side can go from a poor looking one, to a decent one.

Current form can always be a factor.

You could be top, but lost the last three, coming up against a side that is bottom, but has won the last three.

Then the gap completely narrows.

I don't doubt that Norwich will pull well clear as the season wears on..
