For at least two years then we get expelled from the league.

We're finished. Points deduction, relegation and wound up.

Well done all concerned.

I wonder how many will "support our boys" there next season.

Surely no-one will go now.

They told me they will only extend it if they see satisfactory progress. Otherwise expulsion from the league would be their likely choice

I cant see it. IF, lets say they bought some land in year 5 and used a "we had courts cases to deal with, but we are on track now", I cant see the FL not extending, purely going on what they have / haven't done so far during this mess

No chance they will pay the £1 million bond and sit there for 4 years if they have to. Will I am sure now by some land and there will be some planning issues and appeals to go through.

That 1 million could go towards renting the Ricoh whilst the new stadium is built instead.

They will need to do something by this time in two years. I would guess bricks would need to be laid by then.
The FL never give anything away so I was shocked when they said their most likely action will be to expel us from the league

They will not be expelling us. As I say land can be bought and objections to planning permission takes years. They can cite Brighton as an example that took 10 years to build.

Any resistence from the league will be met with legal action

Firstly I would very much doubt Sisu would Sue the FL and want all the admin process coming out in court.
Secondly I think I have read this action would cause them to lose the golden share ?

Most people will have long gone and the Sisu franchise in Northhampton will have the fans it deserves.

I think Grendel's right. The FL will do anything to avoid a decision and that will give Sisu as much time as they want.

I can't see us being wound up either, worst case scenario is we're sold to Byng and we see what the deal is there. Even if we did go pop, I can't see the FL kicking us out completely, maybe a big points deduction and a relegation though.
