Win every game 3-4

Wonder if we'll send him out on loan for a bit, better to be playing in league one than the development team.

Makes me excited for the next week tbh because surely we do not spend on this guy if we’re not also going to spend elsewhere. Would be non-sensical to bring in another striker if it was going to use up the last of the budget.

I highly doubt we've signed a player for 2m to put in the development squad

if we do ever look at moving to a 442 you would need 4 strikers

Can't believe we've splashed the cash before Gyoketes or Hamer have moved on!

Unless Doug has heard something.

He was playing in the Belgian top flight last season on loan so I doubt he will be loaned out

We've got some great competition up front now. This is going to keep everyone on their toes.

I'd still like to see 1 or 2 more, but the squad looks very impressive as it is.

Except the wide roles are completely different to the central one and 3 of those players are predominantly central.

We're either more flush than we thought if we're spending a few million on a third choice striker or a first teamer (ie not Tavares/Obikwu) is on their way out, Palmer the obvious one I guess.

From the very few clips I've seen of him he looks like he could play wide just as much as centrally, looks to be decent running with the ball.

I agree, but we have 3 forwards for one position, realistically, Simms is obviously first choice, one of BTA or Bassette won't even make it onto the pitch. It'll be interesting to see what we do.
