Liked the look of him, some suggested hed play in the 10 or on the wing but he’s definitely a striker, as is Asante…

Bassette looks like a really shrewd signing...as other's have mentioned he has a bit of a certain former player about him.

Looks like a great signing already, gives simms something to keep him on his toes,

Yes, but is he any better than Godden?

Looks a really confident lad for his age . Shows a great turn of pace and makes a lot of intelligent runs .
Not scared to give his teammates pelters either .
I don't think he's come to play second fiddle either , he wants Simms place in the side

Had a really good first game, played like he was ready for this level, and gives MR food for thought.

Him and Simms could really push each other hard and get the best out of each other.
Would love to see a game we can play both together

Phoned my old man after and it's safe to say this lad excites me .

19 years old , intelligent running pulling players away creating space , pacey , went looking for the ball and looks good with his feet .

This lad looks like he can play wide or through the middle .

Could be the a real gem , I'd be happy with an 8-10 goal return at 19 this season

Only his first game , but he looks different to simms , definitely quicker , all our strikers have different attributes which is a good for the season ahead and now sheaf is back things are looking up.

Looked reallly rapid with that surge down the left side, and got his head up well to feed BTA with the pull-back

He reminded me of Vardy when i seen the clips of him. Watching him tonight i don't think i was wrong he has a real edge about him, he at 19 looks the nuts .. If he willingly opens his ears, he will be some player for us. And soon as he gains the trust of the players he will get rewards for them runs he makes

It looks to be a very clever signing, early days but he has all the tools to do well.

Very impressed with the look of this lad. Not just his touch and energy but his immediate confidence and personality at how he told his fellow players where to be and where he wanted it playing. Laid one on a plate for Asante who missed it and didn’t impress me half as much as this kid.

I agree although I’ve just been reading Oxford fans hailing Asante’s performance.

Strange one Asante. He looks like he should be a good player and he's eye catching because of his speed and work rate .
He's a puppy chasing a balloon at times but I'd rather him be with us than against us.

For me he’s looked very good when he’s picked the ball up in deeper positions.
I mean he’s not looked terrible by any means.
I’ve been more disappointed in EMC but like Asante, we’re only 3/4 games in. I’m hopeful for them both.
