Have seen some people saying its not working , but let me tell you it is , no one and that is no one ,whos job is to make money can watch loss after loss week after week, no matter how much money you have, its a gamble with other peoples money that will be stopped by some one above joy if it gets to a certain point , nobody knowns where that point is but it is there . there will come a day when the council will have to call sisus bluff and let them build a stadium , that will surely be a step too far for sisu s owners ,as by that time with that cost on top of the losses, it wont be economically viable . A bit like if you buy a cheap bmw car because its got some damage , and you if you can fix it you will have a expensive car for a small outlay .But if the fix becomes more expensive than the car is worth ,at some point you have to stop spending money on the (cheap) car

Whether you call it NOPM or not, there can't be any serious doubt that the low attendances at Sixfields are having an impact.

ML referenced that ACL had bled the club dry by charging £1.2m per year on rent - well, the reduction in revenue is much more painful than that.

No facts there to back any of that up - just wishful thinking. Otium will have done a budget reforecast at the time it was apparent that 1500 people would be the average gate per game. on the basis of that, they would have engineered all costs down for the rest of the season to bring the loss down to to their original forecast. If it WAS really hurting them, they would definately say so..they always have in the past.

after reading 200% latest muse i believe it is working but maybe not in the way people think it is or would.

Sh1tsu need a carriage to take them to the Ricoh and that carriage is our club. they need the club to get the Ricoh and the club is the only leaverage that us fans have over Sh1tsu to get the team back to there in the Interim. if the club has to be liquidated because of a lack of funds where is the point in the Ricoh aquisition and more importantly sh1tsu's leaverage has gone. we have more power than many think, NOPM is the only way to get the club back to cov while the battle for the Ricoh is being fought in the courts.

i say to the sixfields goers, you are being used stop going and see how quickly they accept the latest rent agreement.

SISU have said that things were hurting them in the past - when it fitted their agenda.

In this case it's caused by their intransigence.

I'm afraid that the only thing NOPM will achieve will be the reduction of staff budget to compensate. Staff being manager, coaches & players.

I may be wrong but we'll see come the summer.

I think that if SISU/Otium try to compensate for the lost revenue through cost cutting, then given our very low attendances this is likely make us relegation candidates next season. This then of course means that the club would face further income losses (away fans being a major source of revenue for us at present) and the downward spiral would be likely to continue.

This would make it even more difficult for SISU/Otium to raise the reported £25m required to build their replacement stadium. Consequently I believe that in practice they would probably be forced to inject further equity into the company to allow it to keep a competitive squad under FFP (always assuming that the prospect of a transfer embargo is seen by them as an issue).

It isn't working as the premise is flawed.

The whole reason of moving is to take a risk of putting a shot of cash in to gain further down the line, if you don;t gain, then you lose that shot of cash but that's the risk you taker. What you don't do, however, if that risk fails is move the club back and carry on as if nothing has happened as there's little point in that, all you do is continue the reasons you want to take drastic action in the first place, that you have an investment that isn't paying off.

So... not going to Sixfields because you think Cov should be in Cov, or because you can't get there, or you feel uncomfortable watching Cov surrounded by maroon seats, all perfectly reasonable reasons.

Not going because you're so sick of the owners you feel withdrawal of cash hastens a conclusion, and even oblivion followed by revival is better than having the current owners, a logical reason too.

Not going because withdrawal of cash = capitulation and reversion to the status quo, not going to happen.

This was always going to be a war of attrition. NOPM is contributing to weakening the length of time Sisu can hold the club to ransom in Sixfields. It has been far more effective than Sisu budgeted for.

If it becomes obvious they will not get ownership of the Ricoh, they will have to look at minimizing losses and packaging the sale as best they can, in the end they will have to be business realists. That is likely to mean a return to the Ricoh, with some face saving deal.
No doubt they will sell and CCC will sell the Ricoh to a new owner.

NOPM is about more than the loss of income to the club or SISU.

The sparse crowds at Sixfields are a cause for national comment and even sparser crowds would draw even more comment. For a company that shuns publicity ("we provide a discrete investment service"), these comments must be like a dagger to the heart for SISU. I can assure you that no investor, if they want to hide away a bit of money, would go anywhere near an investment company generating a lot of negative publicity.

Let us not forget when he mentions this (as every media interview seems to), that's the exact amount Arvo took in interest last year.

At least with the council we got the use of a Premiership quality stadium for our money, with Sisu we got a League One football club.

Nobody seem to remember that a coin has two sides.

NOPM is keeping people from going to home games and that understandable makes them pretty angry. That anger may be vented against sisu, but it actually also works in sisu's favor as all the publicity is indirectly hitting the ccc. The politicians cannot just do nothing - they have to act. They need to somehow try to bring the club back. Their first plan failed - Haskell didn't buy the club. Their second choice is to sell to sisu.

Just look and listen to them all. They are the ones who seem to be panicking - not sisu.

NOPM is working - but not the way the creators want.
