No he is not the Treasurer. Not dismissing anyone. Was trying to explain that what e is doing he does off his own back and does very well.

No it was not him who said that, as its been pointed out.

Torch you seem to talk gibberish pretty much the whole time these days. Bitter, twisted gibberish.
Some fellow fans go on the hill, not giving money to Sisu, they have some banners, do some chanting, get a fair amount of publicity-- because you know what the action in itself is a protest; so what they see some of the game- they are Cov fans.

We know you dont like Jimmys Hill, we know you dont like anyone opposing Sisu, we know you dont like ACL, we know you dont like CCC. We get it. Just go to Sixfields, pay them your money and be happy FFS.

Yes it is silly. That is my point. We've gone from boycotting, not going to Northampton, etc etc to going anyway and watching the games for nothing. The Trust say one thing publicly then do the total opposite to suit themselves. I'm done with them.

After 40 years it's bloody difficult just to switch off and not attend games, but I've done it. I feel even more for my 7-year-old who is City mad and only just starting out on the CCFC journey. I feel we're making a stand in our own small way together with the other 9000 odd fans who have decided to do the same, yet still I get labelled a SISU Lover, etc etc by people on here who DO see them for nowt.

Seeing people (and having Trust members crowing about it) going on the hill anyway, shouting KCiC, etc yet makes me think "why bother?" Why not just go and see the team I support? As for the Trust. Fuck 'em.

Well maybe I am not a real fan then Torch?
However, I am not at Sixfields I am on a public path that happens to be on a hill above the stadium .

This is silly.

No it's NOT protest. Michael admitted to as much the other day.

Don't like seeing anyone opposing SISU? Nothing could be further from the truth. I'm just not a brainwashed "SISU out" automoton like you and many others. There is more than one side in this.

This is the pertinent point. The truth is if the club doesn't return at some point it shuts down. I after 41 years of hardly missing a home game now don't attend at all. Ironically my family try and persuade me still to go as really it costs no more - then some moralistic dickheads keep bleating on about me being paid by joy and Tim while still watching for free on the hill or going to away games to give other clubs the revenue.

At this rate ill be there by January. Why not all the real objectors are watching every bloody game anyway!

Torch, that's your view.
Things are a mess and all I can do is try, not doing to well at present but that's due to so many different views and messages.
Yes, it would be easy to walk away from the Trust but its the only voice out there. I just wish more people would get involved and turn it into the force it could be. Am just an average supporter who wants what's best for my club and my City, I will do anything to get it back.
Fed up talking about what has happened in the past, never will all be resolved.

10,000 cov fans have been Brainwashed haha-- was in something Cov Council put in the water?. Youre losing it fella...
What you never get is Sisu own the club and are responsible for its well being. The buck stops with them.
...I dont think its news to anyone on here that you have bitterly opposed anyone stating anything against Sisu for well over a year, 1000's of posts of it.

If you look back at the my first game thread you will note it looks like my first was the same one as astutes.

odd therefore that it should also be our last as I too will not set foot in Northampton.

Don't get too excited though as you'll have to continue with my drivel on here for a whitil they confirm they're not coming back

I think you will find that the real objectors watch one goal and half of a pitch for most of a game, if you're going to argue, get the facts right.

Some fans choose to go on the hill, dont give Sisu any money, get publicity for KCIC, have a day out- a good day out last week by all accounts.
Torch, Grendel claim to not go to games so I presume support KCIC. So why all the bitterness? Just doesnt add up does it????

Well then, sorry to break it, but you are wrong, I was on the hill last week with a laser level and dowsing rod and it was a comprehensive 51% pitch view which is far closer to my estimate than yours....FACT!

The Trust have been advised by quite a few people on many occasions to try to unite the fans. But no, you lot knew best and followed a path that could only lead to disunity. I still remember your post when you were on the way to Crawley; 'real fans don't go to Sixfields'.

You lot got it wrong.

The fact it is it only football and worse, much worse, things are happening in the world. I was very angry at first but life's too short to get too worked up over all this so my view is, if you want to take your kids to Sixfields, do it. I went on Sunday, despite misgivings, and really enjoyed the game and forgot for some of the time where we were - it's a lot like watching us away. Pressley has got this young team fizzing so well done to him. Promotion is genuinely possible.

I remember hearing the BBC's John Simpson being asked a few years ago how he felt about the latest stuffed-shirt wanker of an accountant who was wrecking the place. He just said 'I ignore people like that, and one day they go away'. And that's the truth of it, one day Sisu will be a bad memory and the club will be back at the Ricoh. Boycott if you like, but I doubt it'll do much, and in the meanwhile you'll be impoverishing your own life.

Like all of us, I spend money with some unpleasant companies because I have no choice if I want groceries, or to heat my house, but it doesn't mean I approve of them. I've got nothing but sneering contempt for Sisu but one day this parasite too will crawl back under its stone. In the meanwhile enjoy life and if you feel like, it go along and give Pressley and his young lads a cheer - they deserve it at least.

What do 'you lot' disagree with me about? I really don't give a toss if you stand on a hill, stay at home or go to Sixfields. I'm talking about splitting the fans into 'good' and 'bad'. Pretty poor table btw, couldn't you manage a graph?

Are you taking into account the movement of the people on the hill between halves? What was your datum? Do you have OS grid coordinates?

I dont go to the Hill... I dont go to Northampton to watch Coventry City. I guess thats my primary point of disagreement with you. But thats your choice.
Yes of course I could have managed a graph, moot point and somewhat churlish- no matter.
Point is- data speaks- "us lot" which in itself is a sad indictment to our situation, whichever side of the now apparent divide you sit remain steadfast in our resolve to bring CCFC home to Coventry-with our chosen course of action- you dont agree...enjoy Sixfield.

In the post you quoted I stated that I really don't give a toss what you do. How did you interpret that as me disagreeing with you?

Can you do a graph please? I like graphs.

Have I misread this then? Apologies if so... was your point then not that those that don't go to Sixfield have chosen the wrong path?

Tricky double negative there but no, my point was that the trust should not divide the fans.

I'd like a line chart but with the axes inverted and creative use of colour. If you could add some interpretive yet humourous sketches (perhaps using stickmen or something, but totally up to you) to fluff it out it would be appreciated.
