But they have sold over 1,000 tickets do are they going to get the same stick as the 300 season ticket holders?

It's more about self-righteous people not practicing what they preach. It's not just the contribution of sake either its the message it sends. Also many if these people also bleat about Pheonix clubs and that Coventry will never return as well as calling them cobblers when they play at Northampton. None of this holds true if they attend games. It's wanting their cake and taking a huge slice.

opinions opinions we all have them thank god we are not all the same what a boring world we would live in. I do think that comments are taken to seroiusly sometimes. It's an opinion in most cases. So mine is... nothing from the club shop, away games only whilst we are at Northampton. If we move back to Ricoh I would no doubt go to the games. My biggest problem has always been playing at Sixfields and rfuse to go there point blank. But everyone has their own ideas...

Is this thread for real, somebody who states he is not going to any games and therefore not giving any money to sisu is having a go at people who are not giving any money to sisu. I am convinced if Grendel was a dog he would be running round in circles chasing his own tail, woof!!

I am supposed to be a sisu apologist. It's a thread about double standards and hypocrisy.

Out of interest, does said boycott also apply to boycotting teams with similar anonymous ownership structures to ours, in a show of empathy?

With respect i don't think there is another club in world football with owners like ours. Sits back and waits for some smart arse to show me up.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/.../feb/18/crawley-town-manchester-united-fa-cup

Dave Boyle, chief executive of Supporters Direct, argues that owners of football clubs, public sporting institutions drawing on the support of their towns, should not be entitled to hide behind anonymity.
"Crawley is not such a romantic story and they are not a typical non-league club," he says. "It's an all-too-familiar tale of financial doping and opaque ownership, and we have seen too many of those ending in collapse down the years."

They also had no qualms about employing Steve Evans, who singlehandedly destroyed one club through dubious financial dealings.

Ok so the op is about the nopm rules, there aren't any and nor should there be, this is an ever changing situation and therefore any protest has to be the same. As for double standards, support the team at sixfields = money to sisu, support the team away = no money to sisu if tickets are bought directly from the home team.
I don't think you are a sisu apologist, but surely it is hypocritical to say those that are attending sixfields should be able to do so without objection and then to say that those that attend away games are hypocrites. For what it's worth i am hoping to attend some away games.

I think there are many people in here who are council "sponsored". I don't think any are sisu plants but some I suspect are supporters of other clubs who come on here for a laugh - he falls into that category.

Coming from someone who was so up sisu's arse that in itself is amusing. You almost made Ginetta look anti sisu.

The point is course is one if double standards. Anyone who attends home games is classed as shameful. Anyone who attends away games is not but some financial comeback will go to sisu. These people clearly are prepared to give sisu money. They also must believe the club will return to Coventry.

So I will not go to any home and away games but I am a sisu plant? Think not. However, anyone who attends one away game this season and then dares to criticise anyone else for attending matches does by definition support sisu. It also makes them a filthy, stinking hypocrite.

You need help.
Look around the room. Do you see an oblong wooden thing we call a door. Go to it and turn something called a handle.
If it is not locked it will open.
Walk through it.
Make your way to something that makes you squint, it is called daylight.
You are now in the real world.

I am not to sure about that.

I think he maybe using multiple logins. To push an agenda held only by a very very small minority.
I think he may enjoy trying to fight such positions and see if he can convince others to support the minority opinion.

But hey I could be thinking about just a tad too much.

So I assume that it is not a total boycott then. Away teams I believe can claim 6.5% of income from tickets sold. So should it be Not One Penny above 6.5% instead?

Not from me I will be in the away end at which ever game If I choose to attend

As at Oxford
Couldn't you have just made that point in your OP instead of wasting 6 pages of entrapment? Yes, you could, but you wouldn't derive as much snide pleasure that way, would you?

I'm not quite NOPM myself, but if I go to any games at all, it will be at The Ricoh, nowhere else. Most people who will go to see us away aren't NOPM, they just won't follow the team in Northampton.
You can't possibly fit every single fan under one convenient banner for the purpose of deriding them.
That about sums up his agenda he as to be right regardless of anything else

I thought the club got a 5% commission for selling the tickets for a league game, as the club hasn't sold them and Crawley have I assume coventry get 0%
The club will get a fee from sky for showing the Sheffield utd match maybe we should protest to sky and get them not to screen the match
