Ipswich: 2-0 up and fooked it up vs Blackpool
Bristol City: Lost at Brighton
Millwall: Annihilated at home by Brum
---------------------
Forest: Battered at home by Saints
Donny: Drew with Cardiff
City: Played well, blah blah blah...you know the story.

What a wasted opportunity for City today....yes, I'm still clinging to that uber-thin chance that we could still actually get out of this mess, so sue me.

The reason they all did not win was because they are all shit, like us! Sadly we are just not good enough to beat a team like Derby anymore!

Derby had won their previous 4 before today.

I'm annoyed because opportunities like today won't come around too often. We're simply not ruthless enough.

we are too far adrift and too enept upfront to be able to get out of this trouble sadly mate, we play nice football but do not like to cross the half way line with it, speaks volumes.

If City was a Tiger, it would have little pace, but show talent now and then at hunting down prey, and at the crucial moment before making the kill...all of its teeth would fall out.

Other Tigers would say "You were unlucky today mate, you show great talent at hunting", right after nicking what meagre scraps of food it had.

we are an old sheepdog, take us to the forest (not nottingham) and take the shotgun to the head.......

Our Tiger has just had it's eye teeth pulled and sold to a poacher from Middlesbrough.

We thought we were on our way after beating Bristol and Brighton.

Then Bristol won at Saints and all that good work was undone. The only good thing about today was that Millwall's goal difference took a real battering, before today the gap was effectively 8 points due to their far superior goal difference.

Love the optimism CableGuy, but face it, it's gone. :(
