Well a good chunk of the forum hold Jay Dasilva responsible for the Titanic sinking, starting WW2 and, more recently, the increase in small boat crossings so why not him?

Do you have a sexual interest in JDS that you need to share?

Someone he can share imaginary pub conversations with.

A slightly ironic insult.

It would be far easier for those to just admit they were wrong rather than projecting into a thread like this, but I suppose this identifier also works.

Maybe they'll listen to you all over here:

Mate you have to admit, that whilst everyone is entitled to their opinion on players, your thoughts on Sheaf bordered on the obsessive. I genuinely thought he had done you wrong personally. I've not read anything as directly aimed as your comments on him.

Association Football and City status,Bought influence and Plastic status, changing the future of football for the worse through a fascination with celebrity, the legends in their own time and minds, stealing the great British pastime and a culture shift of mammoth proportions! alongside so many of their compatriots!
Will that do for the strap line at the bottom?

It's what happens when an entire forum tells you that you are wrong. There's been many such cases thoughout SBT history. I stuck to my guns, that's it. It seems I was proved correct all along, so I am glad I did. It really doesn't go any deeper than that.

What we are seeing now is a combination of those that can't deal with that, along with those that are struggling to come to terms with him leaving.

I will admit, it's hard not to feel smug, and having threads started with my name in is quite the honour, but it also got boring a long time ago.

Let's hope for a great season.

He literally tries to be pally with everyone and they ignore him.

Has digs and tries to be clever at others. He is literally the lone ranger on this website.

I mean you definitely doubled down on it as a result. I don't think I've ever felt that much hate towards a player. Mind you as you say, it probably was more hate towards the people disagreeing as much as hate towards sheaf himself. I'm just glad you can rest in peace now. Until we play Wrexham

Ha yeah, I think you make a good point. It was always a bit pantomime villain really.

In all seriousness, I just hope we can have a good season and that's all that really matters. Fingers crossed Doug has his wallet at the ready and is making some transactions as we speak.

We do have a very good squad for this level, but it would be nice to add to it, especially after making this sale today.

I remember us being desperate for cash at the time, so probably not.
Yeah we weren't in a strong position and he's maintained it after 3seasons with inflationary pressures so does a £4M player equate to that I think so and will be relatively happy with that if it comes off for Woolfy

Not overjoyed at the news as we’re now light in midfield but it was going to be a struggle to keep a player of Sheaf’s calibre on the bench. Will remember this time playing with Hamer and Eccles in the 22/23 season fondly.

Some people just want to drag us back to 2016/2017 and the glory days of Jim O’Brien and Gadzhev in the middle of the park.

These are all too obvious and don’t appreciate the contrarian nature of ESB.

I’m going for either Grimes or long shot but maybe Rudoni.

I think Grendel's views on Biamou would have run him close.

Some people thought we should have resigned biamou and not signed Gyokeres.

It was a Jesus Army cult of mesmeric proportions

I’ve bookmarked his infamous post once Sheaf departing was known. It’s probably the funniest thing I’ve read on this place all year.

As for the player himself I think most of us could see his flaws and the club eventually outgrew him, but he did serve us well. I’d like to think that ESB will make a burner account on the Wrexham forum and give us many more laughs in the future.

I would like him to go over there and let the Wrexham fans know what they have coming in his words.

This one

I said this the other day, but Wrexham makes perfect sense. They're the only club daft enough to pay over the odds, and with all their Disney shit, a suitable club for his ego. It is a match made in heaven, and exactly the kind of cucky move he would do.

Whilst we would automatically be stronger without him, and be able to allocate a proper captain who's going to make the difference, we would also have some money to strengthen the squad.

Doug needs to get this done. It's a total no brainer. The only thing I worry about are some of our fans, some of whom will need counseling, others of which will need to make the tough decision as to which club they'll now be supporting.

In all seriousness, he isn't good enough to start now with the squad we have (despite some recent bizzare calls to drop Torp to shoe horn him in). If we can get a few pennies at this point then it makes absolute sense.
