maybe if these "footballers" trained they could score penalties!

Lets let them rest this week they might be tired bless them!

Meanwhile the other teams are training and really fighting!!

Oh, so - yet again - is it Thorn's fault for resting a thin and injury ravished squad?

Our pens haven't been the best this year...I reckon however the team is knackered now

Many teams don't practise penalties in any case. I've heard that the German national squad don't. And they're prolific

Can't believe I've shelled out £27 for Southampton-very tempted to have it refunded.

Misread flint's thread and thought we'd missed two-such is the state of affairs I'd believe it if someone told me we missed 10...

Yes, missing penalties, Brighton is poor. How many this season? 3? Very, very disappointing. I'm not defending that.

What I am saying is that this thread seemed to insinuate that not training this week - specifically this week - had a bearing on McSheffrey's miss. And who would have taken that decision? Hence carry culpability? That's what I don't like

It's academic at this point-our relegation party is Southampton's promotion party; God knows why we sold out our allocation so quickly. Can imagine plenty wanting their money back pronto...

I think we have missed 4 pens. Juke missed 1, Clingan missed 1 and Sheffers missed 2? Might be wrong?

That sounds about right Steve-also think I'm right in saying that we've dropped 30+ points from winning positions this season.

I think one caller on CWR tonight said 20 something points lost from winning positions, says a lot really.
