According to Robins due to cash flow constraints.

Personally I would gamble on offloading Baka and bringing in someone else who scores goals.

I don’t think our front 4 can take us up automatically and Godden can’t do it every match on his own ...

I don’t think it’s that easy to sell a shit player and bring in a goal scorer without any net spend involved.

I think we have enough to go up automatically. Be great to have another first team quality centre half and another striker who can finish but that’s just for depth. I think our starting 11 had enough to go up

not convinced its a gamble offloading baka.

Getting rid of him, Brown and loaning out Pont and Wakefield should free up enough for one incoming ?

Hiwula got 13 last season, not sure who there is out there available and affordable with a better record than Hiwula (1 in 4 for all clubs) at this level.

offload Charlie Wakefield, Gervane Kastaneer, Jordan Ponticelli and Amadou Bakayoko then use that money to get a striker, winger and potential a centre half on loan

I don't see the need for a centre half. We have Pask in the wings, as well as Williams and Drysdale.

I genuinely don't think we need to be bringing anybody in, the only thing I'd do is extend Walsh if possible.

there has to be league two clubs who would take either wakefield or pont on loan and support with wages. I suspect that would be different with Kastaneer who will be on more...

No doubt Allen and Jones will play a larger part in 2nd half of the season as well. They are almost like 2 new players to come in.....

I don't think we'll be able to bring anyone in who can improve the starting XI (due to how much it would cost).

The main worries are losing Godden (again) or one of the centre backs. Hopefully Biamou and Pask can step up if/when needed (Biamou already has tbf).

If we can find takers, I’d offload Baka, Hiwula, Kastaneer, Wakefield and Ponticelli, and try to get Bright back, he has been recalled by wolves, who are looking to send him out on loan again, and he would surely get more minutes than the 5 I’ve listed.

If Pask can cover RWB, then we are covered (if there are no loan recalls). If Sam Mc is sold, then it would be a LWB loan if Brown stays at Scunmy, otherwise he is back up to Mason.

I doubt clubs will go for Hiwula or Baka... nor will they want to leave... as could pick up better salaries in the summer.

I doubt he would be on more than the 5 players I listed combined, and maybe we could do a deal with wolves.

And why the fuck would he want to go to Sunderland and get involved in a relegation scrap?

The club is working under constraints. It’s not easy as saying get rid of 10k on the wage bill and bring in a player on 10k

What makes you think we would be paying all his wages? Its usual for a lower league team to only pay a percentage. And dont forget, we thought he was a done deal in the summer, before Wigan stepped in. I know we've used money on Ohare, but if Bright is available, I'd have a punt on him.

Can definitely see Kastaneer going back to Holland on a free. What a shame.

Although id ideally like another goalscorer (which are hard to find for cheap) I still think the squad is good enough to achieve automatic.. Barring a huge injury crisis which could hit Alot of clubs, we are in a good place

You’ve suggested to get rid of 5 players to pay for one?

And I’m not sure how good Bright would actually be in this system. Remember last year he essentially had a free role with no defensive responsibilities whatsoever. This year we’re playing differently with emphasis on pressing

I'd love to see him and Shipley together, behind Godden.

Maybe your right. He will be on a decent wedge and if we got to the championship, not convinced he would play an active part
