Well, the actual story is that no more talks are planned

They could plan more talks tomorrow, at the drop a hat - then it's back on again. In theory.

Fans actually want a club that could survive for more than a year, one that is run on a sound financial footing with some transparency to 'One off write offs' etc and one that can actually compete in the 3rd tier of English football and provide some value for money.

We'll imagine what the relationship in ACL would like if Sisu were allowed to adopt the Wrecking Ball approach they've illustrated at the Football Club!!

Obviously Sisu came up short in their offer to the Higgs charity. We don't know what was offered but knowing Sisu they probably just wanted the charity to hand it over.
Im glad the Higgs have stood firm because the more they get, the more good work they can do in the city !!!

Some people can't see that though wingy,i wouldn't trust sisu with a wendy house let alone a football stadium.

Exactly john, because certain fans aren't from coventry or live here they are not interested in what happens here. For sisu to get one of their grubby fingers on the ricoh is a disaster for the the people of coventry.

I'm pretty sure SISU wish they had never heard of our club - they are in a desperate place now - no chance of the ground - League 1 - falling income - on-going losses - watch out for the signs everyone - they have to replenish the £500k rent account at some point and should be buying players with real money soon... If neither happens soon you know what's coming next

So basically there is no news to report and the CT have reported there is no news to report

........... on the face of it in terms of the ACL shares deal nothing has changed from this time last week or the month before. SISU already knew the accounts figures well before they started trying to acquire the shares and would have had to disclose info to the Charity etc ...... so the accounts coming out this week do not change a thing other than now we know what is in them.

as for the other inaccuracies in the report, frankly cant be arsed to keep correcting poor journalism

I think what Councillor Duggins has said is fair and reasonable but pretty much what ACL The Charity and Council have always said - it isnt anything new

Well, it's a good job that certain fans who aren't from Coventry support the team. They'd be f'd if they had to rely solely on people from Coventry, wouldn't they?
