Because the share is now with a company not in admin, it has been transferred. CCFC Ltd is no longer of any relevance to the FL.

I think it means that they may lift our embargo even though the company itself is still in admin, but as that company no longer holds the golden share it doesnt really matter to the league. I assume that would still be dependent on SISU filing accounts though.

I presume it also means we are now safe from further points deductions........... for now...........

we can now sign players though it will be a 1 out, 1 in policy.

Bell and Mcdonald have gone so currently we will be allowed to sign 2 players, that will be it till more leave unfortunately.

How can we be in , but at the same time be out. Can sisu buy players now? Or have they got to put the accounts in?

There's the problem, neither holdings or otium have filed accounts. the punishment for that is an embargo! by the time they get round to it the FL will have some attendance figures to check against the FFP budget SISU submitted. If the attendances are as bad as they look like being we'll be in breach of FFP regulations punishable by, you guessed it, an embargo!

In all liklihood yes. Unless SISU have some gigantic sponsorship deal they have been keeping quiet about.....................

Have we had a sponsor on our shirts for the games played so far or have the shirts been blank?

its confusing

otium have the golden share as issued to them by the FL, but my understanding is that the sale has not been completed as no agreement was done on the debt which means otium dont own jack shit including any part of CCFC. so the football league may as well given the golden share to me as i too dont own any part of CCFC.

as already stated neither SISU or Otium have not filed their accounts so the transfer embargo stands, for what its worth i have filed my accounts so if i was given the golden share by the FL we could be purchasing players, all be it i would need a whip round to do so.

Will be good news if we are out of embargo but would be a ridiculous decision from the football league and I could see other clubs being very upset.

it wouldn't be without precedent though, Pompey flouted the League rules for much of the last 2 seasons and got away with it

I can't wait to see how the FL have decided we're out of embargo? None of the companies involved have filed accounts and it would seem likely with the attendances at Sixfields we won't hit FFP targets either.

They flouted no rules...the FL have discretionary powers (e.g. 10pts not 15pts deducted) & gave Pompey special dispensation on a few signings.

sounds like we can sign players up the level allowed by our income, which really should mean we arn't allowed to sign players, but presumably we have lied about our expected income.

well it's good news of course but it would be hypocritical having criticised the situation with signings at Pompey last season not to question why they league are again totally ignoring their own rules in lifting the embargo. All I'm saying is I would like to know the reasoning behind lifting the embargo as all the evidence available suggests that under FL rules the embargo should be in place not that I don't want us to be able to sign players we desperately need!

Well if ccfc get away with ignoring fl rules all the other clubs might as well too. The fl is a ludicrous organisation.
