If there's the slightest glimmer of hope it's that we tend to play better against the top teams...and we sure as hell need to!!!!!

Agreed, the club never been the same after leaving HR chasing a dream and playing in a stupid stadium they could never afford, the club needs to return to its community roots and SISU to be gone, I think a new stadium is needed but how it's financed is the problem, 32000 way to big for us I don't think even in the prem would be filled regularly, we need a white knight to come in and take over and start again but that is the stumbling block

If you aspire to the PL then 32,000 is spot on.
If you aspire to this division then the stadium planned by Sisu is spot on.

You have obviously settled on the second

If you want to aspire to be in the PL,you need access to al 365 day revenue.....time to start lowing those aspirations

That is rubbish most teams that own their own stadiums only open on matchdays. So this 365 that Tim keeps going on about is not the norm in football.

You're wrong. Even the likes of cov rugby rent out room all year round for functions, meetings, weddings, etc. plenty of clubs have hosted U21 games (Shrewsbury) or concerts too (MK dons), reading even have a hotel.
And apart from Pitchside advertising they can get stands sponsored, grounds sponsored, function rooms sponsored, etc.

TBF it's about the only true thing SISU ever said. Clubs like Leicester and Southampton are good examples of how to use your stadium to make money. Here in Northampton Cardoza is doing a similar thing, on a smaller scale...ground is up to 10k but the project's really all about the attached hotel and conference centers.

Under FFP rules, sugar daddies alone aren't enough. You have to own your stadium and have it earning for you every day.
