Just a thought... But maybe we need more of a defensive player now?

Fair enough, at least they are trying. And really, who can blame someone for not wanting to join a relegation scrap?

With the way we're playing at the moment, teh forward I would like to see us in for again is Stead. I know he didn't pull up any trees when here on laon before, but he is not getting a regular game at the moment and was sub against us. Platt has been excellent but I can't see it lasting and I think he would work well with Nimley.

Agree we definately need a striker to spell Platt. He has looked good this season, especially on Tuesday night, but it's a bit much to ask him to play Saturday - Tuesday - Saturday.

Stead isnt a bad shout, but would Bristol want to loan us him when they themselves are still in a bit of danger?

One thing as Platt is playing well how can you drop him??? Prem teams wouldn't want strikers being bench warmers... We could do with one but if we don't i think we are now more capable up top than we were when Juke was here!

Can't help thinking a chat woth big Sam at West Ham wouldn't go a miss, they seem to have plenty of strikers and lending us one or two might also help them when we play their promotion rivals, thinking of Brum, Cardiff, Hull and Southampton.
